As a matter of fact, with the damage output end game characters get to, there isn't a point in using it unless most single targets you have to take down has so much hp that it takes longer than 20 seconds for a party to take down. It might become useless with that damage output. | ||

Perfectly rolled rares can be better, but still viable end game weapon. Getting those rolls is another matter. Is there any listing that shows which prefixes/affixes can roll on certain item slots? The entire list on the main website is nice, but it doesn't tell me which ones can roll on a bow for instance. | ||

I'm only 45 so it's still amazing. I could maybe get similar levels of spell damage by dual wielding wands but burning damage & cast speed are important too. I'm running double fireball with +rarity in searing touch and LMP and fire pen or chance to ignite in my 3L chest and if stuff doesn't have fire or ele resist it just falls over - else I use flammability. | ||

Just got IR and switched between each type of chest with similar armor, pure EV just beats hybrid and both are better than AR, so it looks like EV gear it is. | ||

Chain is selling for 2-3 GCP on default. The quality bonus on it blows (increased projectile speed), but you can probably find somebody willing to pay a retarded amount for it just because it is quality. | ||

Chain is going for a bit more on HC, sometimes even up to an exalted. Especially with quality you can probably get that and more. | ||
