Everything else is pretty easy once you've done it a few times. Imho corrupted blood immunity isn't needed (but good), having some way to avoid or minimize the slows and being speedy seems to help me more. If your not slowed to an absolute crawl, the die beams should never hit you. It's still not a fun fight but it becomes bearable once you don't get confused anymore. | ||

Waiting around a week or two for Ritual to end and migrate characters from Ritual to Standard SSF - wanting to give a few builds a test-drive before deciding on next league's leaguestarter but relevant gear is split between the leagues (found a few One With Nothings via the Ejoris Delirium nodes, but have the Wildwrap/Fractal Thoughts/relevant Cluster Jewel base etc in SSF Standard). Mildly intrigued by these Korean Elementalist Fulcrum / Static Strike builds: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?class=Elementalist&item=The-Fulcrum&skill=Static-Strike but can't find any random video/explanation of quite what they're doing (reverse chill shenanigans, at least). | ||

Yes, slams are vastly superior in terms of power. However, strike skills can be very fun. I'm even thinking about playing another one next league. But that's solo. I can't reall imagine one of the skills being fun in party play in the current state of the game... | ||

How many buttons do you think a new player should be using in their build would be my only reservation. Depends on the friend I would say, but in general I'd think Slam is too complicated for a starting build. | ||

For inquisitors maybe storm brand is better, but I'm not sure. I like the QoL improvement for the old content in Ultimatum. Combined with the atlas passives from previous league it will be interesting. | ||

Would agree on the arma / cremation for later. If you, like me, suck at using mines earlygame, you can also just use any self-cast spell of your choice together with holy flame totem and frostbomb or oos until then. Bosses will be a bit slower with "random spell you like" compared to well executed stormblast mine, but holy flame totem on a 3L seriously farms. Frostbomb i use mainly for onslaught while running around. And unless you try to be one of those "to maps in 3:30 and play the first 20 hours" dudes, i dont see losing like... 3-4 minutes at most vs act 1+2 bosses as a dramatic disadvantage. | ||
