I don't follow Liverpool all that much, but why didn't Belamy and Adam start today? Especially Adam would have been nice to have on the midfield today. Bellamy was probably due to his knees, they're pretty dodgy and need to be managed carefully to try and keep him fit as much as possible. Adam has been awful recently but I'd still rather have had him out there than Henderson, who is just totally anonymous. He has a good engine and decent technique but he just doesn't seem to have the balls or the confidence to try and make anything happen. We have to start using Gerrard closer to Suarez though, he's totally wasted in a deep midfield role. And Kelly should be starting ahead of Johnson, he's the best young player we've had come through since Gerrard himself imo. Kelly is? Cool I'll be following him and liverpool more closely the next coming weeks A shame about Adam's form, he seemed like a real good player for Liverpool the times I've seen him play.

In hindsight it might have been worth having Adam in the side today just to try and make something happen, he tends to give the ball away a bit too much trying to hit hollywood passes but seeing as the rest of them were giving the ball away easily while trying to hit 5 yard sideways passes anyway it would have been an improvement, he has been struggling, but as a Scot myself though I hope he comes good.
But yeah I really rate Kelly, he's big, strong, quick, can cross well, good in the tackle and good concentration. A lot of people think he'll move into the center of defence eventually, but for now I'd have him first choice at full back, even though, second half today apart, Johnson hasn't been bad this season.

I don't care what you want to say, Fergie's post match interview about the incident describes the situation perfectly. Suarez is a disgrace. All he needed to do was shake hands, even if he didn't want to, and then this would have been avoided. Dalglish needs to start paying attention and do something about this.
Shame this is overshadowing everything - it was a hard fought game which came down to the wire. Plus it was an important win for United to keep City on their toes. Remember what makes football, football. A bit of passion makes the game enjoyable, a bit of racism is enough to spoil anything.

So, you don't care what anyone wants to say who disagrees with you? Ferguson is a hypocritical old bully, he has nothing to tell me about my club and never will. If Evra had refused to shake Suarez's hand would you be saying he was a disgrace? Or a man of principle?

It's probably easier to move on if your character isn't permanently stained. The idea that a handshake would make everyone move on is ridiculous anyway, and I wouldn't shake the hand of a man I felt had lied to ruin my reputation. Suarez admitted using the word "negro". I don't care where he's from, in this country that is racism. Think about it. If you're going to call someone a cunt, you call them a cunt. You don't need to add their race/sex/nationality in front of it, you're already being offensive. The only reason to add it to the front is because you're being racist/sexist/xenophobic or whatever. He knows that he is racist, and it doesn't surprise me. His track record shows that he is a vile human being - he bit someone when he was playing at a previous club, says it all. EDIT: And sort your lot out. Booing a player for being the victim of racial abuse is the sort of stuff I'd expect from Millwall supporters. He admitted using the word negro in isolation, not attached to any insult, and linguistic experts agreed that in the context he admitted to using it it was not racist. Whether you believe him or not is another question, but don't try and claim he admitted to anything that could be called racial abuse. Saying 'in this country that's racism' is incredibly stupid, considering the conversation took place in Spanish (a language Evra does not speak well, but had chosen to start insulting Suarez in). Generally speaking it's better to consider what the words mean in the language a conversation takes place in, rather than the country it takes place in. That's not as stupid as suggesting that biting someone makes you a racist though. Presumably Roy Keane is also a racist, seeing as he admitted to a premeditated assault on a fellow professional, and is clearly therefore a bad sort. You can be a prick without being a racist. And as has already been mentioned, Evra is being booed because the people booing him believe that he lied, embellishing the incident for sporting gain, at the cost of another mans reputation. Anyone who believes that he was using in a purely descriptive sense is naive. There's no reason to say that word to someone on a football pitch. Try and imagine any situation were he would've had to say that word to Evra on the football field and you probably won't be able to think of one. I certainly can't. Most footballing experts/pundits certainly couldn't. And the FA certainly couldn't. He is a racist, "and that's a fact". I said that biting someone shows he is a vile human being, not that it shows he is racist. Don't put words into my mouth. I'd never try to defend what Roy Keane did to Håland. Most United fans I know agree that he is a dick. You clearly tried to imply that seeing as he bit someone he was more likely to be a racist. Secondly, the FA report and Evra himself have both said that they don't consider Suarez a racist. Thirdly, it was confirmed by linguistic experts in the report that you've clearly never read a word of that it is normal in Uruguay to refer to black people or even people with black hair as negro without it having any abusive meaning, it's equivalent to calling someone 'mate', for example. The FA didn't find him guilty based purely on using the word negro, they found him guilty based on Evra's account of the conversation in which he claimed Suarez used it repeatedly in an abusive way. Who you believe in that is up to you, although as there was no proof either way I find it ridiculous that the FA convicted on the basis of one man's word against another. I'd strongly advise you to actually educate yourself on an issue before you come in trying to tell people what is and is not a fact. 1) You can read it that way if you want, but that's not what I was saying. So don't put words into my mouth. 2) That said, I think that actions since then show that he is. 3) There's no reason for him to say it, and even less reason for people to expect those who aren't from Uruguay to understand that particular use (which I don't believe is what Suarez was using that word for anyway, but whatever). Players from most other countries are going to consider it racist, thus it is - we're in England, we're not in Uruguay.
2. List those actions, please.
3. He says it because it's a normal way for him to talk. You say players from most countries would consider it racist, could you present any evidence for this? Or are you just assuming the English usage is in place everywhere except Uruguay?

Fergie already said that Evra shouldn't have celebrated like he did at the end, and i loathe Fergie as much as the next guy but he is right, what Saurez did is disgusting, makes no sense, just swallow your pride and shake the man's hand, Saurez will get booed out of the league now with any luck

It actually makes perfect sense, either Evra was lying throughout the trial, in which case Suarez would be fully justified refusing to shake his hand, or Suarez was lying, in which case he's a dick and it makes sense he'd not shake his hand for that reason. Either way it was hardly all that shocking.
