A story of the day+ Show Spoiler +I had just arrived in Seyda Neen after my release, and was feeling a little mean. I walked around town, getting to know the place, when some s'wit Dark Elf gives me a funny look. I just couldn't stand it, after being locked up for so long with that damn Jiub. I then took out my dagger, and proceeded to stab him several times, until I noticed that he had fallen dead. Nobody heard him cry for help. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/tuhc6.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/83zi7.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/s7aXS.jpg) After I took the money from that Dunmer's coinpurse, I decided to talk to that nice-looking Fargoth guy. It turns out that I had come across his ring while I was looting the C&E Office, so I gave it to him, considering how useless it was to me. Then he suggested I go visit Arrille, the shopkeeper. I had already planned on this, so I went along to the tradehouse. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/nBcs3.jpg) When I got to the tradehouse, all was fine, until I looked around. Arrille was married to some Dark Elf scum. I went upstairs to look around, and was even more disgusted. There seriously was another Dark Elf, and a Redguard up there. I grudgingly went back downstairs, did my buisness, and got out. I made sure to buy some extra lockpicks, along with my shortsword, halberd, armor, bow, and arrows. I still had a small pile of money left over afterwards, but it didn't feel the same in my coinpurse, knowing that what I had spent would likely be used for Arrille's wife. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/9RLbA.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/37WIU.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Y9f3j.jpg) After the horrible time I had at the Tradehouse, I decided to check out the lighthouse. It seemed like a nice enough place from the outside, however, when I got inside, I was greeted by another Dark Elf. She didn't even give me a proper greeting, didn't offer me any food or drink. This was unacceptable. I slew her with my newly-bought Steel shortsword, and stole the three measly coins she had from her robe pocket. I then noticed she had a locked chest, so I pulled out my lockpicks and got to work. One of the cheap things broke after the first few tries, but the second pick got the chest open. Inside were a few more gold pieces, and a steel dagger. I decided to hold on to the dagger, as it was slightly better than the one I took from the C&E Office, which I would leave somewhere safe when I got to Balmora. I then looked around the lighthouse, taking all of the gold coins I could find. That woman wouldn't be needing them, or the large book i found upstairs. I took the book and some of the lanterns from the lighthouse to Arrille, and he gave me a nice amount of money for them. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/rlG8I.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/AiKkS.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/pouSJ.jpg) It was now late at night, I needed somewhere to sleep. My second day in Morrowind + Show Spoiler +As I arrived in Balmora on this rainy day, I reflected on how 'special' that trip was. Dunmer women aren't terrible in every aspect. Now that I was looking around, I noticed that this city was at least three times as big as that miserable little Seyda Neen. This meant more places to explore, but I had to talk to this Caius guy before anything else. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/70qDX.jpg) moar pics + Show Spoiler +After looking around for a while and talking to some strangers, I made my way to the South Wall Cornerclub, where this man I was to meet was rumored to hang out. After a brief talk with the owner of the establishment, I followed the directions he gave me to Caius's small home. Was this really his house? For someone who is regarded so highly by the people who processed my release, he must be pretty important, especially if the Emperor himself asked that I be sent to him. As I walked in, it seemed like some shirtless old man had broken in and made the place his Skooma Den. However, this old man was the Caius I was to report to. After I gave him the package, He asked if I was ready to be admitted as a member of The Blades. With this man being in The Emperor's service, I thought it would be unwise to refuse. He then gave me orders to go and make a name for myself, and to gain some experience in this land. I was about to protest, but he handed me 200 Septims. That was enough to make me willing to do a little work around this Dunmer-infested town. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/4ulEQ.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/x2qZg.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/gg3T8.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/7x1Gj.jpg) Having 200 extra gold pieces in my pocket was a nice thing. After I noticed that all of the town guards were filthy Dunmer, I went and raided the Guard Towers for anything of value. Unfortunately, there was a lack of items useful to me, but the town merchants would be happy to take these weapons off of my hands. I used the money from Cosades and my liberation of those items to buy myself a Chitin Mask Helm, to completely hide my skin from the outside world. Afterwards, I went to The Razor Hole, and was greeted by a friendly Nord. I sold him the weapons I had collected from the Guard Towers, and purchased a Steel Wakizashi, an improvement over my current Steel Shortsword. ( out of order D: ) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/8p1C6.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/M8sR8.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Woocu.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/w7PgW.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/TqAQN.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/5ktos.jpg) As I walked around town with my new gear, I noticed a suspicious-looking Redguard lurking outside some store. He was near an alley. I slowly pulled out my weapon, and walked up to him. As he turned, He chuckled, and insulted the way I looked. I moved closer, weapon in clear view. His eyes widened. As he drew breath to call for help, my new Wakizashi had its first taste of blood as it ran straight through his throat and neckbone, allowing only a small hiss of air to escape his lips. The shopkeeper would be happy when she found his corpse. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/071Un.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/a8397.jpg) I felt hungry and tired after my shopping spree and the incident with the Redguard. After walking around for a bit, I came across the Lucky Lockup. When I walked inside, I noticed another Redguard, but only one, and no Dunmer. I went up to the proprietor, and purchased my meal. It wasn't much, but it filled me up. Feeling a little more relaxed after the Mazte, I rented a bed upstairs, despite the Redguard downstairs. I locked the door, laid down, and fell into a deep, comforting sleep. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/RZ78h.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/LWE0b.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/MaBkx.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/FI7oU.jpg) I woke up feeling refreshed, and walked outside into the cloudy morning. My third day+ Show Spoiler +I walked into someone's house, thinking that I could ask them about where to find some faction to join. The woman inside suggested a few, and House Hlaalu sounded like the best bet. But then, the woman started getting a bit out of hand. I smacked that Redguard scum, and she hit me back. I drew my sword, and sliced her through her weak little spine. She stood for a moment, eyes agape in astonishment, and then fell over dead. I shook my head as I noticed that she had no money in her pockets, and left her in home. While walking up to the Hlaalu meeting hall, I wondered what the work would be like, and how I would be recieved. The Dunmer woman inside the doors greeted me, and I asked her about joining House Hlaalu. Oddly enough, she obliged almost immediately, and I was now considered a member of the House. When I asked her about work, she gave me a strange look, and asked me to repeat myself. When I did, she gave me a helmet, and bade me to go get some secret orders from House Redoran officials in Ald'Ruhn, by posing as the Redoran soldier that I sounded much like. I decided to take the Silt Strider, and when we arrived in Ald'Ruhn, I was greeted with a giant dust storm. I hurried into the shelter of a building, and asked a guard where 'Skar' was. After being pointed in the right direction, I jogged to the entrance, put the special helmet on, and walked inside. Finding my way to the House Redoran area wasn't that difficult - I just looked for the section that had the most doors. After getting the orders from the Redoran lady, I went deeper inside the Redoran area, until I came upon the private quarters of a mage. After buying some spells from him, I looked in his back room, nd picked the lock on his closet. I didn't find much, but it would be enough when sold to justify the theft. I also took almost all of the books from his bookshelf, and slipped out before he knew what happened. When I left the Redoran House, I looked around on the lower area of Skar, and went into the shops there. I sold the clothes to the clothier, and bought a Mortar and Pestle from the alchemist, since I had come across quite a few random potion ingredients aling my travels. I snuck into her back room and stole some of the ingredients from there, made a few cheap potions, and sold some to her. The rest, I kept for myself, for later use. Having spent enough time with the Alchemist(she smelled like chemicals, I didn't want to stay around too much longer), I went into the Enchanter's store, where I was able to sell the books I had stolen from the Redoran wizard. I also was able to buy an enchanted Dwarven Shortsword, Last Wish, for a relativemy low price. After I left the shop, I found out that It was nearly broken. I took it to the blacksmith outside Skar, and she fixed it up pretty nicely for a Dunmer. I then sold a silver claymore that I had no use for, and bought a new helmet. It weighed as much as the Chitin Mask helm that I was currently wearing, but provided more defense and headroom. After I put it on and walked around a bit, the dust storm didn't seem like as much of an issue, however, it still would get into the chinks in my armor. I walked into a bookstore, and pulled one of the recently liberated robes over my shoulders, and looked around. The store owner greeted me, and trying to seem inconspicuous, I browsed through his wares. I didn't see anything in particular that I liked, but I sold him an expensive book that I had forgotten to sell to the Enchanter. On my way out, I noticed that he wasn't looking, and opened up a chest near the door. It was full of the expensive scrolls he wanted to sell me, so I quietly grabbed them, hid then beneath my robe, and moved on. I was feeling tired, and wanted a place to stay, so I looked around until I found the Ald'Skar Inn. I paid for a room, walked downstairs, and ate some of the ingredients I had leftover from the Alchemist. I woke up in the morning, walked outside, and was greeted by yet another dust storm. This time, I had my robe and new helmet on, so it was easier to get around. I walked up the Silt Strider platform, paid my money, and rode to Balmora, where I was greeted with a rainy day. Going straight to the House Hlaalu meeting hall, I took off my helmet so I could be better recognized. The woman I was reporting to was pleased when I handed her the orders I had obtained from her. She was so pleased, she even promoted me. I was feeling pretty goodabout myself, so I asked if there was any other work I could take care of. I was asked to liberate some alchemical recipies from an Alchemist in Vivec, and was told taht I would be well rewarded. I went on my way, but before going to the Silt Strider, I looked around. I had too much stuff with me, and needed a place to store it. I was able to get atop the roof of the Fighter's Guild, and left my items there, knowing that rain wouldn't be able to damage them. The Strider ride was rather enjoyable, but when I got to Vivec, I was greeted with a massive building, partially sumberged in water, and a large thunderstorm. I looked upwards to the top of the Canton, and all I could see were rainclouds. A thunderbolt on the distance jarred me out of my temporary hypnosis, and I proceeded to walk across the bridge that lay before me. I made my way to the Lower Waistworks of the Canton, and found the woman's shop. I bolted in, grabbed teh recipies, and ran out before she even had time to react. I hid the scroll behind a tapestry, and a guard came up to me, asking about the theft. I paid the fine, watched him walk away, and retrieved the scroll from its hiding place. Eager to see waht this place had to offer, I went to the very top floor of the Canton, and walked around. There were two blacksmiths up there, and both had relatively poor selections. One of them was a Redguard, however, so I grabbed a handful of arrows from the shelf before walking out. I made my way back to the Silt Strider, eager to get back to Balmora, which was becoming much like a new home to me. I tiredly walked to the Hlaalu meeting-hall, gave the alchemical formulas to Nileno Dorvayn, and rented a room at the Lucky Lockup once again. I pulled off my armor and robe, left them beside me, and fell asleep quickly. dem pics + Show Spoiler +

My fourth day journal, finally. + Show Spoiler +As I woke up from my slumber, I decided that I wanted to go far a walk. In my walk, I stumbled upon a small Imperial Fortress. Inside, there were many Imperial Soldiers. One of them in particular was very rude to me. When he turned to face me again, I put my fist in his face, and in the confusion, slipped away unnoticed. I laughed to myself as I walked back to town, and to the House Hlaalu building in town. As I walked into the poorly lit building, I was tasked with the assignment of convincing a Vivec merchant to stock guar hides bought from House Hlaalu. After an annoying trip, the alchemist in question was easily swayed, and I was on my way back. Unfortunately, while I was gone, someone had murdered an important House Hlaalu member. Guess who had to figure out who did it? I eventually got the maid to talk, and she pointed me towards a certain Dunmer of the Council Club, the local Cammona Tong hangout. After stabbing him multiple times in the chest and taking his valuables, I was given 1,000 septims for my work. I was starting to have more money than I knew what to do with. I then felt a little tired of working for House Hlaalu, so I walked myself to the house of Cosades. He gave me the task of getting information from some trainer in the Fighter's Guild. He sent me on some odd errand to get him a puzzle box from an old Dwemer ruin. It wasn't that much trouble, since I found the room where the box was in rather easily. After killing the bandit boss who had the box, I gave the little thing back to the guild trainer, and recieved a package of notes. After giving these to Caius, I was asked to get even more information, but from an Orc in the mages guild. After almost falling down the dimly lit ramp the had, the Orc lady was more than willing to help, but only if I got her a skull from some ancestral tomb. After stumbling around in the dark, killing ghosts and bonewalkers, and not afraiding of anything, I felt around in the darkness for the skull the Orc wanted, and eventually was able to find it. PIcking it up, I felt my way back out of the crypt, and got onto the Seyda Neen Silt Strider to Balmora. Upon giving the lady her damn skull, I was given another package of notes to give to Cosades. As I drudged back up to the old man's house, rain started to come down, forcing me to go even faster on my weary legs. I almost fell through the door, handed Cosades the notes, and left without speaking to him. I stumbled down to the Lucky Lockup, paid my ten gold, and dropped onto the bed, falling asleep instantly. + Show Spoiler +
