If not, nevermind and I'll chuck it on the pile of other mistakes! (Aion, Warhammer, Rift, SWTOR, DCUO, AoC etc. etc)

Some of the quests are lame (run here, kill x of this) but they're the exception, lots of them remind me of old adventure games that require a bit of sleuthing to solve. It appeals to me because it works especially well with the atmosphere but I can see this kind of game play being a huge turn off for some. None of the puzzles are obtuse and I've never been stumped for more then 15 minutes, they aren't the ridiculously contrived sort of puzzle that you encounter in games like **shudder** myst. The main storyline in the start zone (kingsmouth?) is really cool though, story and voice acting are better then anything I've seen in any other mmo and are more on par with other media in movies/tv shows.

+ Show Spoiler + I had to get a morse code app for my iphone so I could decipher a message to finish a quest. It was engaging, which is rare for an MMO. Agree with Yuljan that it's the best MMO experience I've had since vanilla WoW.

The dungeons are something I think are really incredible. In many ways, they're very standard MMO dungeons but the subtle differences really set it apart from other games. There are no "trash" mobs so you're not going to be grinding from boss to boss. Each mob has some ability/property/mechanic that you have to understand to beat it. That by itself is fun but the fact that those mechanics are then applied to the next boss are what really seal the deal. You never feel like you're wasting time, just mopping up trash to get to the next boss. Every time you're fighting in a dungeon, you're prepping yourself for a boss fight. Also, small thing but the ability to move while using any (and all) of your abilities makes for much more dynamic combat. This is particularly true in dungeons. There're a couple boss fights where you almost never stop moving. Game certainly isn't perfect but it's got a real charm to it. The dialogue options for each npc are also a nice touch. They're not needed for progression but if you take the time to ask and listen, it adds wonderful depth to the world and really brings it alive. sidenote: we need a Team Liquid Cabal :D

Got some trouble with the crafting system though(do I need to dismantle a gun before I can actually craft 1?). I haven't given much thought to the crafting system yet but no you don't have to dismantle a gun to make one. You just need to arrange metal components in the shape that forms a gun. I'm pretty sure you can get metal from dismantling any weapon.

I don't know how exactly but the combat was way! better in the second beta weekend. Though the combat is not as fun as in TERA imo.

I just hope, that the combat wont be as boring as the one youtube I saw, a ranger just mindlessly standing still and hitting a button.

I like the balls of this game, if that makes any sense, I mean, trying something new and exciting. You have 7 active skills and 7 passive. It get's pretty repetative. The fun thing though, is to come up with an awesome build that works for your playstyle, just like in GW1. There's more skills to unlock than there is bars to use them with.

Have you (or someone you know) experienced the chat issue? Did you teleport to another random dimension without the option to go back to your "home" dimension? How often did you encounter bugged quests? (the requirement to teleport to another dimension to do the quest counts as bugged). And I doubt it - but if someone from Kobold is playing (German server): what's the faction ratio in Pvp?
