Hello teamliquid I noticed a the lack of a thread for my fellow paintballers and I to discuss one the best "Extreme" sports known to man kind.
I'll start the thread by posting pics and specs of my main marker for now.

-its a 2004 alias in a black shocktech body and shocktech clamping feedneck
-really old board only has semi and the standard features such as dwell debounce (no mdbounce) and BIP.
-360 bob long reg
-Pillow bolt
-Eigen ram
-J&J edge barrel kit
-Lurker eyes
-Lurker Battery Harness
-I think the trigger is from a dragon intimidator but I'm not sure because I'm not the original owner.
-Old style CP twist on/off and CP gauge
-Hybrid contract killer grips (THESE ARE AMAZING)
-Hybrid adjustable ram cap
-Vlocity junior hopper with gangster chip
-Hope to get the board flashed soon when I get money from my summer internship and then I'll be able to leave this baby alone.
I like to play everything from woodsball to airball but I have to say woodsball is my favorite (when its not tick season!, which is almost never in maryland D: ). I've never played in any scenarios due to time and money but I would love to. Alright whos next?

i regret selling my paintball gun so much. I put so much money into it and every moment with it was pure joy.

Now that I think about it, I need to start playing paintball as well.
Sweet gun, I just went with "what's cheapest", because I've only used it on other people once. It's a VL Crusader, which I assume is brand name for "terrible".
Call it the boom-pistol 'cause if you take off the barrel it's LOUD.

ooh A Dangerous power man eh? I've almost bought many of their guns over the years but always turned away at the last second. Thresholds were a limited run right?

I used to play paintball a lot when I was a kid. Got was too expensive. I'm pretty sure a cocaine addiction is cheaper than that sport  I sold all my stuff except for my 03 GZ Intimidator and a few extra barrels so I don't feel bad posting on PBN haha

Lol I remember this one time at the field some newbie called a FEP Quest a shocker knock off. He almost got buried that day.

always hesitant to any paintball talk on the internet outside of pbnation because i am usually talking about speedball and tournament play, and they are usually talking bout their super cool tippman that they have all modified to look like a M16 and how they wear full camo and gilly suits, BUT
I was presently surprised when i actually read the post.
I sadly dont play anymore though i used to compete but i lost over $5,000 in paintball stuff when my house was broken into last summer =(...
I HAD a White (limited edition) 08 ego with polish blue parts, and custom made grips with SubZero (as in the mortal kombat character) on em. Had a black/blue pm6 (was my first tournament gun). Had an Ironman Intimidator that was more for show and i never really liked using it cause it was old and really heavy, but got it for super cheap from friend of a friend sort of thing.
I still have my Autococker pump with Prostock body and deluxe pump kit. but i just dont have the money to go anymore =/. For 2 years i was at the fields every weekend, even twice in a weekend sometimes, but since all my gear got stolen it just makes me sad. =(.
Cool to see a paintball post that isnt just war stories about the day u dressed in full camo and shot some little kid with ur tippman

I can't imagine if my gear were stolen. Its not just the money I mean all the time I've spent with my marker learning how to get it working just right and all the effort I put into. It's like stealing a section of your life.

I haven't played in over a year being in Korea and all my stuff is in the US. I still have a Etek backup and use the now dead 09 impulse. I got serial number 001 too...wonder if KEE actually does maintenance on these things. I never got a replacement valve since since I didn't run into the problem.

pretty much how it feels... was the worst thing that i lost in the experience, because it had the most time/effort of anything put into it and collecting it all... =(. Was like losing my best friend =(.

Oh perfect timing. Some I ran into some kid I used to hang out with and he regularly goes to Skrimish in PA now. I havent played in years. Paintball is so so so much fun.

2004 Ion w/ virtue board and a few other upgrades 450$ gun with upgrades shoots like a 1000$+ never forget sadly paintball isn't a sport you can afford without sponsors when you're in school

Man, it's been far too long since I've played paintball, I really miss it. I used to play every weekend with my buddies a few years back. Not competitive or serious by any means, just messing around in the woods. Pretty much this vvv Good times though

I was emotionally scarred playing paint ball with high schoolers when I was seven years ago (idk wtf my aunt was thinking), but that is enough to stop me from playing ever again. I play laser tag at most lol.

Where about do u live? i live in lethbridge aswell and i do paintball.. i use to paintball with so-alb illusion (notice the name) haha i notice ur pictured said lethbridge, is that a picture of parklake paintball? , u probly know ito and strank and clay and shit.

We played at PBO , During the winter we played at Rampage indoor and now we are debating with Parklake or Bragg . And yeah I know those guys ,

I haven't gone paintballing in a long time. No money I guess =p. I only have a Tippman A5. My brother was way more into than I was. He has a NME and pump (I think it was an autococker, idk)

I used to LOVE to play paintball... and then all my friends I played with moved on, and I kinda quit. Really though, I think I loved tinkering with the guns more than actually playing. I went through dozens of guns... I bought and sold so many I'm surprised I'm not on a terrorist watch list or something...
I had most of these between 2000 and 2004, I think any pictures I had of them are long gone, maybe if I do enough digging I can find some, but that'll have to wait for another day. Short list of just the ones I remember the most, I KNOW I'm missing a ton in here.

Warp Fed, Palmer Stabilized, Auto-response Trigger frame equipped, Pump 68 classic mag. The pump kit was really easy to disable when I wanted to use the auto-response part. This one was easily my favorite.

3 or 4 different Sterlings
ACI Maverick
Palmer Blazer (Second favorite. Was just sexy)
3 or 4 different mechanical Automags.
Building an Autococker from scratch (cheap ass parts I bought whenever someone had a 'gearbag sale') is still one of my favorite memories. I need to do that again.

I wonder if Kee could allow aka to make markers again know that they have the rights to smart part's intellectual property. They would probably want to buy aka though.

recently just got a Bob Long Victory. Play mainly with my pump gun though.
i mainly play woodsball and scenario but i have random periods of speedball.
I went to watch the NPPL huntington beach tournament earlier this year. was fun to see Dynasty dominating again.

Im on the buy everything else except the gun route right now. Im stuck on picking a gun. I want a high end but how the fuck am i going to muster 1100 dollars for an ego11?
Ive got a full set of clothes(pants,jersey, gloves, mask, all decent) , a rotor and a 68/3000.
i want to buy an old Etek but that shit is still so expensive.
How the hell do you guys have the money for high ends unless you obviously have a really good paying job.
