And I know it's not only about points, but I can't think of the rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, right now You kidding me, Nowitzki is an all time great.

If Dallas doesn't step up their defense SIGNIFICANTLY in the coming games, they will lose this series. Dirk is not going to average 40+ points a game.

And dallas is like a team that actually has depth and can hit shots. On_slaught has a good point about the defense, though they've defended Westbrook well, though with Westbrook's IMO, inconsistent offence you never know what you'll get.

OKC 37/43 FTs Dallas 34/36 Those total attempts and high percentages shouldn't hold over the series either.

The Awards are givin' because of the Reg. Season Performances, so Rose if fine. can he keep this up? Is he consistent? Or is it just a one time domination? Average of 48ppg? Are you Serious? Dirk doesn't cares about stats, he has a lot of 15-20pts games, if the game is a blowout. He got his 48pts today, because the matchups worked great and he OKC had absolutly no answer for him.

The scores were inflated by the many FTs that were given. Durant was marvelous all game long but it was overshadowed by Dirk's performance. But with JJ Barea and Terry hitting so much and Westbrook playing so inconsistently. I'm giving props to OKC to be in this game for so long. The next games should all be closer.

He had big numbers, but he wasn't playing out of his game, wasn't forcing shots. He was just being Dirk. Edit: this game also demonstrates how he can be underestimated compared to sexier players, in this case Kevin Durant. Analogy to Rose/Dirk.

I agree about the defense comments though. A lot of OKC points, like Ibaka's, felt too easy. They rode the offensive momentum and gave up so many easy points. That facet of the game could've been better, but offensively everyone was on fire just like in their last series.
