I'm not sure if it was a dominating performance, i mean, they definitely played well, but there were a number of possessions that were only possible because memphis completely forgot how to rebound the ball.
how many times did you guys have possessions that were 4+ shots? I think i saw at least 3 in that game, and then memphis just wouldn't cover the weak side.
But anyway, congrats on the win! GL against dallas, it's going to be a good series

Mavs in 4 against LA vs OKC in 7 vs MEM
Who could be the favorite here? If the Mavs can control the scoring of Durant, it shouldn't be much of a contest. And If the Mavs force Westbrook to take Jumpshoots, the OKC Scoring will go down hard. Memphis played really bad defense in their losses, especially in G7 - really bad! The party will be over against the mavs defense.

Dallas swept because LA couldn't defend the point and the Pick and Roll. I don't think that part of it is going to translate. This is going to be a completely different series for both teams, both just beat teams that had big interior scoring, and now they are going to be playing teams that are much more balanced.

Yeah, that will be interesting what the Mavs do, because Jason Kidd cannot guard speed guards like Westbrook anymore. Key to the series is probably Westbrook.

my predictions:
DAL 4 - OKC 2 MIA 4 - CHI 1
DAL 3 - MIA 4
heard it here first, sadly

Tough against one of the best Frontcourts of the League + the best Scorer in the game. But Dirkules rules 4:3 Mavs. Heat vs Bulls: hm hard to say after first quarter of game 1,but i think the key is Bosh vs Noah/Boozer. therefore Heat 4:3

Taj.0 is really lighting it up on D as well.

Miami looks tired. Chicago's defensive quality and ability to rotate players is paying off.
Also impressive about Deng - he's played 38 of 39 minutes so far and not showing signs of fatigue.

I felt like the OKC vs Memphis series was simply two teams trading off on playing poorly.
|
I'm loving this game. Seems like the Heat spent all their heart on the celtics series while forgetting that wasn't even the eastern championship series.
I hope this beat-down is a sign of things to come.

RELAX it's game one. if Miami has anything it's heart. They just slacked and got a little too comfortable and bulls defense lit them up. But it ain't over till the fat lady sings

Miami Heat versus the Chicago Bulls is going to be a great series of games, after that it's all downhill.
