Pass pass pass pass is BORING and it's not going to change my opinion saying anything different. I'd rather watch two teams openly attack each other than Barcelona pass around midfield for 35 minutes before trying to find an opening. I've been more entertained by Real Madrid this season, cause they go for goal, and other teams have had goes at them leading to interesting back and forth goal fests.
Seriously, get over the fact that not all of us buy into this Barcelona bullshit. If you like it, good for you, but don't tell everyone else what is right and what isn't.
Im not saying there is "one way to play" I'm saying that Barca is the best team right now and that anyone who tries to take that away by saying "They're boring" has THEIR head in their ass. How could it be boring watching masterful play? tell me that.
pass pass pass is boring? what about pass pass pass GOL, since that's what happens almost every game at least 2-3 times...
Seriously, stop trying to make it out as if Barcelona doesn't attack. They can't attack EVERY gosh darn play of course, they have to find openings...They're patient and controlled. If it were true the bullshit you just said, than barca would have like 3-4 shots at goal per game, but obviously that's not true since they usually will have ~10. Like i said, they don't believe in just kicking the ball up in the air and hoping that a target man can hold onto it because most of the time it's just a loss of possession...
believing that other's who see barcelona's class and exceptional game work are "buying into their bullshit" shows how incredibly skewed your mind is. i have no idea what is wrong with you.
You were entertained by a team that doesn't play as well? and has scored less goals? and has made fewer beautiful amazing plays? well okay. It's nice that you'd rather watch two less skilled teams battle it out to see who can connect more than 4-5 passes than to watch a team who is well on their way to epitomizing the game...
edit: Also the reason why it may be "boring" is because no other team can do the same thing they do. They just cant. So barca just dominates most of the time. Is that really reason to hate them? and try to make up shit like they're the worst cheater and divers ever? lol really? commonnnnnnnnn maybe you should watch MLS since you seem to respect less quality teams and theyll be evenly matched Lol
The only thing Real has for them is that the game is at Santiago Bernabeu. I think Barcelona is a much better team. Barcelona has beaten Arsenal and Shakhtar Donetsk where Real beat Lyon and Tottenham in the CL. Barcelona is also 8 points ahead in the Liga. Real has also lost 10 days ago at home against the 11th placed Sporting Gijón. But then again, that was Mourinho's first home loss since he was managing Porto. (2002-2004) So I think it will be a very close game, but I give the edge to Barcelona.
you said "Barcelona is the only team in the world that knows how to play the game correctly."
It depends what you find exciting in football. All the masterful skills is entertaining for some, but other people are more entertained by fast paced end to end action. Seriously, how hard is this to understand for you? I'd rather watch a 4 - 4 than a possession hogged Barcelona 2 - 0 where its just one team doing all the playing. Honestly, it shouldn't be so hard to understand that not everyone likes how Barcelona play. If you find it entertaining to watch one side hog possession then good for you. Just don't moan when a team parks the bus to get a victory. The way you talk you sound like everyone should support Barcelona cause of how they play, and everyone who supports any other team is wrong cause they aren't as good as the gods of football. Might as well shut down every club cause they will never be like them.
Im not buying into their bullshit, IE, I'm not buying into the fact that they are the be all end all and that their way of doing things is the right thing. The fact that when a team beats them with superior tactics (Chelsea (Bar refs) and Inter Milan), they start moaning about anti-football and only they are right, and the diving and the waving of imaginary cards. The turning on of the sprinklers during Inters celebration epitomizes the self righteousness of that club.
Last year Chelsea were winning games 7/8 nil and still called boring, Barcelona wins 1-0 and its like football orgasms. Whatever.

Not everyone likes the Barca style, which is fine, but your anti-Barca stuff reminds me of Kobe Bryant haters, hating for the same reason people love him. Maybe you just like playing devil's advocate? And that's fine too But hate them or love them, you have to respect them, just like Kobe haters have to respect what he has accomplished. This Barca team is the greatest in the modern football era, Messi is a one in a million, maybe billion player, like Pele, Maradona, Eusebio, a true great. Xavi one of the best midfielders we've seen, and in many people's opinion, Spain's best ever etc etc. Hate them if you want, but you have to respect greatness

Chelsea and Inter Milan are not particularly exciting football teams, Chelsea were exciting but that was back when Zola played for them which is ages ago. Inter i dont think have ever been "exciting" to watch. Remember Cuper years? Oh dear god.
There is no doubt that someone does like the kick long balls and play very good defense in football, but that is the exception, not the rule. I once saw a bear ride a bicykle in Romania, that is the exception not the rule.
Most people who arent fans of Barcelona still love watching them play, just like they love watching Brazil play, historically Brazil play exciting football that most people find interesting.
You seem outright jealous of how they play football and maybe you are a disgruntled Chelsea fan who feels robbed after last year CL (understandably). There is a reason why players like Ronaldo (the real one), Maradona, Pele, Ronaldo (new one), Messi, Ronaldinho etc are the most popular players, they play "flashy" football and that attracts the masses.
Workhorses like Essien, Cambiaso, Davids deserve every bit as respect as the above but they are not flashy players.
Chelsea is a workhorse team built around Mourinho's foundations, Barcelona is a historically flashy club with enough big names who have played for them to scare anyone. Ofcourse Barca is popular, they developed their own brand and image as "romantic football".
When Madrid won La Liga under Schuster they werent as exciting team as Barcelona at their best was, despite winning the title it was not enough for the fans and it is why Madrid spends billions on players trying to build that brand up.

YEP Anti-FOOTBALL, go ask around somewhere, thats not in Barcelona =)
That gotta be one of the most retarded statements I've read on this site.
99% of football-fans will agree that Barcelona is the best team and plays the best/most beautiful football. If you think one-touch-football is "anti-football", you obviosly don't know what you're talking about...
The Diving , Imaginary Cards , The constant arrogance in Interviews(Xavi actually said that Arsenal do not Deserve Fabregas in their Attempt to lure him to Nou Camp). They may not be the Anti_Football but they are one of the Dirtiest Teams in the World when they are a goal down.
Oh and for good measure
Of course Madrid aren"t saints Either , but Barcelona are far far much worse when it comes to Diving and Cheating.
Hmmmm, just wondering how long have you been watching football? You clearly have no idea what you're talking since you have yet to mention the Madrid of the late 90s...
Also,
Yeah, much worse, right?
Before you spew more bullshit, do yourself a favor, lose the troll face, you are not going to fool anyone who know his football.
? thanks for providing those vids to prove my point.
btw what the f... are you talking about .we're discussing about the teams CURRENTLY im not talking about the "late 90's madrid". rofl.

You're right Barca definitely deserves respect and they are currently the best team right now, every year(s) there is always a team to beat and it is Barca's time, but it doesn't mean they're unbeatable like some(not all) of the bandwagon fans are saying here.
Barca do play nice football, but the amount of passing that is in their game is a bit boring at times, id argue some of the counter attacking/pace-eyer football in the EPL is more exciting to watch, but it's coupled with alot of defensive play for a lot of the game. I don't think barca is as exciting as the first galacticos or Brazil used to be to watch, just the true amazingly talented players they had back then was more exciting than barca's pass pass pass until an opportunity opened up, players like the fat Ronaldo didn't need to pass until something opened up, he'd just go "fuck it, im gonna score now, and theres nothing you can do to stop me".
As for the the CL i dont think RM will win, and i think barca will probally win the CL this year, but i do think that UTD, if anyone, are the team that could stop barca in the final. They will out maneuver them around the wings with pacey counter attacking play, put a workhorse like park in the middle with the genius of scholes, and defend like motherfuckers with the likes of vidic rio and VDS. I just think that utd, and Chelsea (if they were still in it) are the only teams in Europe this year who actually has a style that can beat barca, because RM and Arsenal just play to similarly to barca, only worse.

North Korea seemed pretty fair with their playstyle
So true. I fell in love with that team after they surprised the shit out of alot of people by the way they so confidently played brasil, as if they hadn't even heard of them before and had no clue who they were.
maybe it was because they didn't know who they were...Lol damn.. awesome team nonetheless :D
So pumped for tomorrow. Hopefully barca take them out, i wanna see Messi win top scorer and most assists, since hes 1st in both right now.
Puyol is cleared to play vs Madrid!!! Here's part of the note:
Carles Puyol has been given medical clearance and joins the list of 20 players that will fly to Madrid on Saturday. Abidal, Bojan and Mascherano all miss the game at the Bernabéu through injury or suspension, but will all be travelling too.

Barcelona aren't the only team who plays football.
Barcelona play the cleanest, prettiest and best football in the world. Madrid winning would be shit because they'd win purely because they're going to play a 5-4-1 formation to draw the game to a 0-0 or 1-0/0-1 finale.
<3 Barcelona, but only when United aren't playing!
Well, I for one don't enjoy the way that Barcelona play. It always feels like they're trying to wring out a wet sponge.
