lets see.... lost 150 all together from money i put in. but i had bad beats from when i had a lot of money to where i lost it all, but i dont think that counts. p.s. the thing that makes me mad the most is when you're in a tourney and you cant get a hand, that's worse to me than getting a bad beat in 1 hand of non tourney play, cuz it angers me over and over! ;(

Their lowest NL-tables-players are owned by PokerStar's 0.01/0.02-players Edit Nice pics ^^ first of all if you're talking nl holdem, then yes, u make money a lot easier at partypoker (use a bigger roll than in pokerstars though, variance is bigger there). Don't play stud there (at least not below 5/10 because lower limits have a terrible structure) or sng, they're a waste of money because partypoker actually tries to get a structure than increases the luck factor (smaller levels, smaller stacks, more players per table).

EDIT: I thought a little bit about it now, and I actually think that the number of players at the table does influence the involved. If I have a skill edge against 8 opponents the more opponents u include the smaller my chances are even if I have a skill edge.

But I do trust you are right that it might not change the luck factor meaningfully for an experimented player.

But generally I agree, probably the small increase in the prize compensates the small increase in the luck factor. (I'm talking about the change between 9 and 10 players sng, not about 6players sng, when I'm on a small roll those are great, almost risk free if u play a few)

I was playing texas holdem, and I had a flush with three hearts on the table, one of which was an ace (obviously, both cards in my hand were hearts). My top heart was the queen, so I knew that the only hand that could beat me was the king of hearts and some other heart. So I went all in, and sure enough, someone had the king of hearts. His next heart was the jack. Luckily, I was just playing with my friends, so it wasn't for a lot of money. Also, I ended up breaking even that night, Still, it pisses me off that he somehow had that hand.

I think im not good enough. I dont suck at poker, but when i lose on stupid stuff like all-in with straight vs 2 pair all-in before river and he makes full house, just fucks up my playing afterwards. So i guess I suck at poker anyway ^^ oh well, im happy, its my birthday day after tomorrow -,- Soon its just 1 year til 18 On November 22 2004 23:05 Rekrul wrote: i made like 10k or so over the course of a year, then like 1-2 months ago i changed my style now i avg 800/day So youre not trying very very hard to become better and qualify for the leagues in Korea then? ^^ Just wondering I wouldnt in your situation :p not that i know much about it

Btw, all this pockerstars shit and whatnot, can you withdraw your earnings whenever you want? I hear people say they make $800/day, but is that just in play money that exists only on the internet? Or is it yours in cold hard cash whenever you want?

The only thing i ever gambled online at was casino.net blackjack. I deposited $100 of my own money and turned it into $1200 before gettin silly and making large bets on single hands and losing it all. So ive lost $100 of my own money. I found this much more fun though because it goes very quick, and is pretty low stress. You cant really get mad at losing to blackjack other than the company hacking the game to cheat. Which, kinda makes me mad. Blackjack you're playing against the house, poker against other players, which game do you think you can have the bigger change to improve your game and actually winning?

You are supposed to file gambling earnings on your income tax as well. People just dont consider winning and losing all within an hour to actually be any form of income. Fortunately the IRS neither cares nor is capable since 100% of gambling sites are not based in america.
