No one plays offense except for maybe one or two people. Everyone plays Ranger or Raider almost all the time in all my games. It always seems I get the team that doesn't care about the Generator or anything, and the other team always has the Tech with two turrets and keeps everything up and running. I just am not having the same fun I had before when I first started  | ||

I just am not having the same fun I had before when I first started well that sounds like a bad streak of teams. if anything offense is what evryone goes for. i spend entire games jumping around the map at 220+ waiting for the cap cause evrytime the enemy flag was returned opne of the 6 people cam ping the enemy flagt stand slowgrabbed it. also spend entire game with one life running around in the enemy basement with jug with 1-3 others just domiting the enemy base. ofc in such a game the expirience is largely related to your team. but from the game itself they really try hard and all patches went in a good direction. also i really like the ranger rifle now. it feels good without the hitscan people apparently hate so much. ranger is maybe op with its 2 primary weapons( did the thumper really get buffed to disc dmg? wtf) but overall i still found myself playing pathfinder most of the time. not that i bother anymore atm. they refused to take my paypal money without a credit card (even after threads and tickets) so im stuck with playing pth/rng all the time and i am about 5 hours dl away from playing bf3 which im sure will consume my freetime in the next weeks. i will come back once the performance issues are fixed(random drops to 5 fps on a 3,6ghz 955+ 800mhz 460tx 1gb? on medium settings? really?) and when i can pay without a cc. but wish the game all the best. it deserves to grow strong. | ||

It's just, they get a Thumper which can provide equal, if not better results than a Spinfuser if in the hands of a decent player and a bitchin' assault rifle that's even more powerful after the patches to it supposedly. I suppose I just suck at aiming, because apparently Pathfinder should be winning every time against a Ranger. | ||

I love it, especially with Extra Capacitor (+10 energy) and Ultra Capacitor (+10 energy) perks. When stacked up, they grant a total of +20 maximum energy. It's really nice with the passive recharge pack (faster energy regeneration) that Pathfinders get. It almost makes the game feel like T2 and playing a scout with energy pack. A few random screenshots of score screens and achievements while playing Pathfinder. Why? i'm just curious seeing as i've never played the previous ones. Also, for competitve CTF in tribes, what are the typical team sizes? | ||

Tribes 1 was 10vs10 I think. Tribes 2 was 16vs16 and eventually went to 14vs14, might have ended up in even smaller team sizes, I don't really know. Tribes:Ascend seems to be mostly 8vs8 now. | ||
