Yeah i've been waiting for it, but i'm not really desperate to get it as I still have quiet a number of games to finish up.. Was wondering if it'll get any cheaper any time soon, because 20 bucks is still quite a hefty sum.

Every time it goes on sale I go through the internal struggle on whether to buy it or not. Then I saw that theres a bunch of DLC packs and that the entire thing costs like 200 bucks. I assumed its one of those "restrictive as fuck without DLC" type things (sort of akin to playing runescape without being a member if the analogy works for you). I could be wrong but with no one to tell me the contrary that's the current train of thought I'm in

i think as a result of the servers fucking up, this game is still at the flash sale price for another 12 hours if not, the price is still excellent right now

Haha ya, its a very depressing game. If you fuck up while at work, you earn less money, meaning you might not be able to pay for rent, or food, or heating. So your family suffers for your mistakes, ya, pretty grim stuff haha.
I think this game is slightly overrated. It's extremely well done, original and unique, and has tons of other qualities, but in the end it's sooo repetitive and stressful.
I get that it's the whole point, but I never want to actually play it because of it. I'd rather play games that feel fun.
At that price I'd still definitely recommend it though.
Is the Director's Cut really that good for Deus Ex HR? All I remember it doing is including the DLC into the main questline and making it so you could non-lethal the bosses.
Even though it's $5, I'm not sure I want to spend it for no added gameplay.
Holy hell. I just watched the Yogscast video for Papers, Please. How is Papers, Please actually any fun??!? Does this game come with some awesome drugs?

I think it adds one level too, when you travel from a certain place to another in the original game it's just a travel, with the DLC the trip is a big level.

Are there any sources for your claim? Afaik director's cut includes a DLC in the main story, adds that extra level of helping Tong's son to escape, improves boss battles and improves graphics a bit.
