Because if they are the 13.50 is cheaper on steam than buying game from amazon and dlc from steam. Two of the DLC packs are disposable. Dunwall City Trials are what they sound like - they're challenge maps with no story content. You can safely skip that. The Void Walker's Arsenal are just some ingame items during the campaign - they're nice, but unnecessary. I'd suggest buying the base game first and seeing if you like it. If you do, you can pick up the story DLC separately during a later sale, especially if you wait until past the Christmas sale when they might go down to a lower price point.
Fair enough, thanks for the reply!
Edit: Zzz not even Canadians can buy it from amazon? That's dumb.

Well yeah. I've definitely modded the shit outta my Skyrim. I bought the legendary edition and now I'm trying to mod my Skyrim, but I have the shittiest internet around and I still got like 10 gb to download for which I probably need another 10 hours LOL
Hahaha that blows man. Is this your first time playing Skyrim?

Just gotta wait for a flash/daily deal. I'm hoping it and Mount & Blade Warband are on sale at some point in time. Otherwise the obvious smartest move is to simply wait until the last day of the sale to be sure.

In my opinion, Saints Row 4 is the best game in the series. Sure, the story isn't *great*, but that's kind of the point. The game plays off of how it is a ridiculous knock off off the matrix and gta and runs with it. Game play is nothing short of amazing, I could not recommend this game more. I really enjoyed it. The super powers and minigames add a lot to a genre that was otherwise getting rather stale. And perhaps my favorite part of the game is the female voice actress, who has tons of amazing line deliveries.

Meaning what, it is too easy?

Borderlands 2 75% off - Worth it. If you liked BL1, BL2 is better. If you don't enjoy it alone or with friends, don't bother
Batman: Arkham City GOTY 75% off Arkham City is better than Arkham Asylum and I haven't played much of Origins, but I would say Arkham City has almost no real hideous flaws to complain about. Definitely worth it if you love Batman, gadgets and adventure open-world games. The setting is a bit bland for too long and the boss fights are hit and miss, but I still like the game a lot
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare 75% off Played this a huge amount before never touching it again. Mindless good fun if you're looking to throw some more money away; otherwise I wouldn't bother. But they've improved it and it is only about 6$/euros
Shadowrun Returns 55% off
Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs 50% off Not worth it or as iconically fun as the original
FORCED 50% off
The Witcher 2 75% off
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist 50% off I liked the game, it's better than the previous versions, but it was a bit too easy and I didn't feel much challenge. Lots of ways to get through levels, but using the same gadgets several times sort of halts you from ever deviating. Price is a bit higher than others; so check out some reviews
Total War: Rome II 50% off
New Sale. I'll write a short sentence of each.

When it comes to gameplay, many games (to me) are just bad. Bioshock for instance. Many people have no problem with its gameplay, to me it's just boring though. Metal gear solid 4 is a game I love because of how intricate and clever the gameplay is. But to each their own, overall dishonored is a pretty good game definitely worth 8 dollars.
On topic of the new sales: I recommend the witcher 2. This is a beautiful game by a great developer with a great story, world and characters and for 5dollars/earos it is a steal! Gameplay can get a little bland after a while (at least they nerfed that overpowered lightning shield) but seriously, buy this!

Ok thanks.
Witcher 2: Looks pretty cool. Is it recommended to play through the first one first, or am I able to just jump into the second and know what is going on?

The story in the first one is really good, and it is a better experience if you play it first, but the gameplay can be a huge turn off. So you should be able to skip it just fine, but if you like a good story and doesn't mind some awkward gameplay I would play both of them.

$7.50 is not a very good price for Arkham City.
