Faster Than Light is the real winner at that very low price. A great game for only £2 are you kidding me! I have a feeling you've never touched a single Tomb Raider game if you're complaining about combat... Actually I only played the first two enthusiastically so you might have a point. I just feel that with the amount of spoonfeeding (constant directions to everything), there's really no difference between the game and just a large screen that states 'congratulations, you are a winner' the second you boot up the game. Tomb Raider is more like a typical hollywood production. The difficulty is almost non existant, it's more like a roller coaster ride. If you want a difficult game, Tomb Raider is totally not for you.
Which is why anyone who actually enjoyed the challenge of solving puzzles combined with cool archaeology that tomb raider used to embody should probably sidestep this game and people who consider Call of Duty Mod War 2 the pinnacle of gaming should snap this up.

Hey all, is Resident Evil 6 worth it for $20? I loved RE4 and 5, but I've heard bad things about 6. If it plays pretty much exactly like 4 and 5, I'd pick it up, but I heard the gameplay is a bit different with like a ton more quick time events?

No at 5-10 bucks i'd say give it a try but anything more than that is an emphatic no from me.
Now if Resident Evil Revelations comes on Sale for 20 bucks different story. Thats a good Resi game.

What about Metro Last Light for $30? Do you guys think it will get any lower? It's the last game I want to get now ( got The Walking Dead, Hotline Miami, and Sleeping Dogs for under 15 yest)

Heroes VI, ugh. It'd randomly crash whenever I went back to town. It was something with the town-screens, like a 300+ page thread on their forums, and no fix for months. I'm hoping the standalone expansion fixes it, but I don't want to give them any money at this point.

Bought every Half-Life game for $10 total and am quite happy about how that's worked out. Also got Bioshock 1 and 2 for $10, hoping that works out. I was sorely tempted by Bioshock Infinite but ultimately decided older and cheaper games would be just as entertaining for much less money, even if the graphics aren't as good. Any other games people recommend getting?
