Anyone know if there is going to be two releases of this game like there was for the first one? Ya know, "censored" vs non?

The Australian version has a game decision censored, a decision to have sex for a reward was taken out and the character automatically declines. We get charged an extra US$20 for that too.

As much as I liked TW1 its point-and-click combat is a little disappointing. The fan made rebalance patch makes the game somewhat more enjoyable. Graphics can only capture my initial attention. Good gameplay and story is what keeps me playing.

The game is rated USK 16 (crazy, I know). Looking forward to it :-)

EDIT: ARGH! You have to set it to non-Australia before you purchase. Looks like I'm stuck with censored. Will be emailing GoG, hopefully they'll fix the issue. EDIT 2: I got this message 1 minute after emailing them my issue so it looks like a lot of people have made the same mistake as me. If you're in Australia, change your location BEFORE you purchase the game if you want to uncensored version! Here's their email: -- Hello, Unfortunately we're currently unable to change the version of the game that a user has on their account, after purchase. It's possible that “fan patches” that will re-enable the edited content will be released on the Internet shortly after the game's release, however we, nor CD Projekt RED, cannot be responsible for these patches, of course. We're also compiling a list of users interested in a version change, but we can't promise if and when this could be done. We apologize for the inconvenience. --- Regards GOG.com Support

Even if their program does not allow this change you can always go directly to the database and change whatever variable is set for Australia to any other for that user. that doesnt change the game itself. When Australia consored version does not have the parts then just changing your region settings wont get them either. You'd have to make a new download to get another localised version. Australians should set their location to United Kingdom before you buy the game. PEGI versions are mostly like the developers release their games

Not surprising, as they knew this second installment was going to be much more mainstream.

Not surprising, as they knew this second installment was going to be much more mainstream. As far as I'm aware, the edit is of one scene only where 'sex as a reward' is an option (for Australians it is no longer).

I think GoG can't legally sell something illegal in Australia to Australians. If the user says he's from the UK then GoG can claim that they didn't know, but actively going in and changing the location of someone who simply wants access to the regular version is a no no.

The review pretty much praised everything, pointed out the beginning is stronger than the ending (at least the one achieved by the reviewer) and how the character becomes too strong in the later stages of the game (as far as I'm told, he played on normal difficulty).
