While I agree that he is heavily biased, I am totally certain that battlefield 3 will lose to mw3 in regards to the console market. Mainly because bf3 is going to be quite limited compared to its PC counterpart 32 players max 30fps etc. Plus cod has a huge console fanbase regardless of how good or bad you think it is it has a huge fanbase. Plus the style of gameplay better suits console with its arcady ramboesque gameplay. anyway BF3 DAT caspian border trailer HOLY SHIT looks so good like fucking amazing wow 1080p man i was just like holy shit have to watch that again | ||

And some bad news, that i dislike ALOT: The tables have turned. A day after we gladly reported that console gamers would be getting this great PC feature called “server browser”, we can now report that PC gamers won’t have an in-game server browser. DICE’s Alan Kertz has confirmed that in order to switch servers, you have to exit Battlefield 3, and use Battlelog to find another server and join. That is the first disappointment I have read for this game. I can't understand the logic, idc how fast it boots up lol. During alpha they said that this was just an "alpha test and the real game you can do in game server browsing". They changed their minds now? fucking retarded, I hope a lot of backlash comes and they add in game server browsing otherwise I will be severely disappointed (and still pre-order this friday  ) | ||

It's pretty amazing how dice have never been able to make a server browser that wasn't complete shit. How can companies just not copy the steam server browser that has existed since like 2003. Apparently this battlelog thing isn't quite as bad as it sounds. The game launches pretty quickly from the browser. | ||

Well yes. But if the game went back to having 4 polys per character, "consider yourself lucky. You remember when pong was the cutting edge of graphic design"? The game still looks sexy as hell, I'll still preorder it, but... come on... can just one company, just one, make a game with new features that doesn't randomly throw away some fundamental necessity we've had since the stone ages? Surely it can't be that hard. This particular one is going to be EA putting weight on Origin, rather than DICE directly, but still... | ||
