Its been nerfed to HELL with the recoil increase being seriously heavy. M16A3/AEK is the best gun imo right now. AEK is because it always had that large recoil, so the feel of that gun did not change.M16A3 has no recoil issues. Loadout for ALL assault rifles, i would say go Holo/RDS, Foregrip, Flash Suppressor/Suppressor. Now due to the nerf, all guns work better with a suppressor, because it reduces recoil.Its the single biggest issue right now after the patch. My support LMGs cant hit for shit. i know my M16A3 has like absolutely no recoil with the suppressor on. You can try it on your own. For me, i will run with M16A3 all the time now. F2000 WAS my fav gun...R.I.P F2000...you served me well.The recoil you now have is horrendous. for the past few games i was actually NEGATIVE kill/death ratio. That has not happened for a long time...I put people in my F2000 sights and they can get away. or kill me when i have the drop on them. If they try to hide/take cover you can still nab them through splash damage and I've even managed to kill a chopper pilot with it somehow, I wonder if the explosive rounds penetrate armored glass. You can also shoot on the ground and let the splash damage do all the work. Since it's pump action you still need to aim well and the damage is pretty good, you can also see how the frag round falls off/downwards by checking where it hits. | ||

Imagine what your doing,but faster. Its called USAS man. its too good as a shotgun. I do the same thing as you too, i use the splash to kill people. Including myself HAHAHAHA. its the only primary gun that can kill yourself before you know it. I like to hold on to the fire button while rounding a corner. that killed myself quite a few times. | ||

I could try out the DAO-12 (my fav all-time BF2 weapon) but for some reason I like the 870. Maybe because the firing sound and rate of fire on the DAO-12 are just dumb. In BF2 the DAO-12 fired as fast as you could click, but in BF3 it's barely any faster than the 870. | ||

IRNV is officially dead and burried.  Good riddance I say.Less F2000 naps running around. another d(^_^)b from me Tact light is actually bearable right now, another nice improvement. Is it just me or did recoil get upped all across the board for assault class? I went back to my good ol' G3A3 for which I have the XXX kills dogtag, but holding down the LMB doesn't seem like a feasible tactic anymore, even at close range. Anyone wanna fill me in with the changes they've made since beginning of november? ^_^ Like what's good and bad now, what got nerfed/buffed, which addons are popular right now, etc. | ||

So the game starts and we spawn on the ship. We fill up a Little Bird easily, and I'm rolling on the side with my entire squad as we were flying into battle. We land on top of a roof, all jump out and start securing the area. I mean, this was some motherfucking Blackhawk Down coordination shit that was going on. Which all culminated in a ~10 minute firefight between about half of our team vs half of their team in the dock area with all the containers. As their armor came rolling in and shit, our jets were fucking sweeping by (in unison next to each other) shooting heatseekers and doing strafing runs on them as Apache's fought in the air. I don't think I can quantify in words how fucking epic that was. | ||

And yes i did find that the recoil got upped across the board. the only 2 weapons currently for me, that didnt have their feel changed, is the AEK & M16A3. I find all the other guns unusable....the recoil is fricking insane now. Used to be i equip Flash Suppressor, so i wont be revealed on mini-map but wont affect my range of my shots. Now? Suppressor on every single weapon to counter the massive recoil increase.I sacrifice some rifle range. Now ALL weapons you have to burst fire,at every range BUT very short. Otherwise you WILL miss. Addons...just go Holo/RDS + foregrip + Suppressor for every gun. Due to the patch, there's no point going for any special setups. or you can try my old combo of tactical light + suppressive perk.
