Consisting of nothing but spawn killing and the enemy team letting it happen without stopping the poster,either by Jets/other heli/AA. Maybe its the map settings. Then the game ended,finally,i see the scoreboard. The enemy team are all low rank players except for 1 level 44. Not an epic game by far. just rape over and over and over and over for the 13mins zzz. | ||

Some people fly with purely keyboard, some keyboard + mouse, some with joystick. Its more what feels right for you. Personally i use KB+M for helis, and kb, with slight mouse aiming for jets. My loadouts are EDIT: MY BATTLELOG CHOPPER GUNNER Stealth Flares AtG Missile (Air to ground missile) CHOPPER PILOT Heatseeker Missiles Flares AtA Missile (Air to air missile) JET Stealth Air Radar Flares I havnt fully unlocked the scout chopper yet (Z-11W or Littlebird) but id use Stealth Flare AtG Missile (Along with laser painter, is a 1hk of other scout choppers) Hope that helps  Also, top priority is other air vehicles (Once your team gains air superiority, the battle is much easier unless you're playing on an instant vehicle server) then MAA then tanks. Once all thats gone, then aim for inf. | ||

I fly heli's a bit so a quick guide for me is: Pilot Heatseekers ECM or flares if gunner does not have flares. Guided Rockets Gunner Autoloader/Stealth - up to you how dangerous the map is Thermal Optics TV Missile I only usually play up close and aggressive if the other person in the heli is in my teamspeak server, otherwise i'll hang back and snipe armor on the edge of the map with guided rockets. Target priority Other Attack Heli - it needs to be brought down asap Mobile AA - kill this asap from distance with TV/guided rockets, if you don't have that, then try and flank it and approach from a low angle. watch the tracer rounds to see what he's looking at. Tanks - prioritise ones near friendly forces Infantry - if gunner. If pilot, and there's *nothing* else on the map shoot rockets at infantry. Otherwise it's a waste of time. Jets - by the time your heatseekers lock on, jets are long gone/have deployed flares. Best to leave this to the mobile AA/other jets How to kill the other Heli 1. Get higher than he is so your gunner can shoot him, and his gunner can't shoot you (or has a harder time of doing so) 2. Lock on 3. Shoot 1 missile. He will then deploy flares 4. Reload, reacquire lock, shoot both, and you should get a kill. ECM usage - use it /before/ you hear the constant lock tone. Only effective to stop people acquiring a lock on. If they've locked on/missile away, the ECM won't do anything. Other vehicles - no idea, but a lot of it depends on what you've unlocked at that point in time and what your play style is. | ||

Pilot: Heat Seeking Rockets/Air Radar (Depends on the skill of the enemy air) ECM Heat Seeking Missiles Gunner: Autoloader/Stealth (Depends on the skill of the enemy air) IR Flares TV Guided Missile As for the input, Keyboard and mouse is the only way to go for piloting. While it will be frustrating to learn, once you become adept with it, you will have much more precise and rapid flying then you ever would with a joystick. | ||

Unlocks for Jets: Flares - 15 sec CD, prevents damage. Gives you a ton of mobility (it was nerfed down from 10 seconds because before the patch it was overpowered. REALLY overpowered at 10 seconds. its fair now though) Air Radar - playing without this is exactly like playing SC2 without minimap (I hate making cross game comparisons but its apt in this case) Rocket Pods - best offense unlock and gives you power against ground as well as being able to make buildings collapsed/taking out mines/jihad jeeps. I can also consistently take out littlebirds from across kharg island using these since they ARE semi guided (attack helicopters move too fast for me to be consistent, but they can be hit) This is the best and most optimal set up for any jet in terms of defense and offense, period. | ||

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? EA and punkbuster support have been a waste of time, just telling me to install punkbuster etc even though I told them in the initial post that I have done so many times. This has been plaguing me since release. There was a shitstorm on release about problems with punkbuster, but these seem to have died down, but I'm left with the same issues and no support. So many cheats and foreigners and huge ping in punkbuster servers I can't play this game anymore. | ||
