PS3 players get it early because they were promised BF1943 but EA baited and switched them by giving them early access instead. They were essentially screwed over but they complained (rightfully) and they got BF1943 now but to make up for it they also get Back to Karkand as well
Not really crybabies...
I still don't see how 360 and PC getting the content at the same time as them impacts them in any way.

Did you not read what I wrote? EA screwed around with them and now as an apology they're giving them the expansion earlier than us. They were originally supposed to get the Expansion pack the same date as us as well as BF1943 as a preorder incentive, but after a few months EA said "noPE j/k here have this expansion pack earlier and you don't get BF1943". They rightfully complained that they werent getting what they were promised, so EA gave them BF1943 (after a lengthy delay) as well as the earlier access to make up for it
Personally i don't see how PS3 getting the game a few days earlier impacts my BF3 gameplay experience in anyway unless I like to get jealous over frivolous things. Just chiLL yO, I can't wait for it too but if you think PS3 didn't get screwed over and don't deserve something for it idk what to say
Alright i've just tested the IRNV on PC BF3, not as nerfed as that Video would have suggested.
The images are still pretty clear, however its very obvious that the range that the scope can see has been reduced quite significantly. Its still useful for med-short range fights.but slightly further the scope fogs out, and you cant see shit.
I've played around with the new patch and I have few observations/feelings, back me up if anyone notice some of this things. IRNV is reasonable now, up close and mid range it's pretty much the same, a bit more blurry. I guess when most people have spec ops camo it will simply die, and people will change camo P90 got nerfed as written in the patch notes, with silencer now it has much bigger kickback and is much harder to hit something with burst. Sniper bullets are much farther visible, up to 1000m+, compared to 600-700m before? Something like that, however I feel like m39b lost some of it's velocity, I had to target a bit higher then normal. Now something big for me, spotting with "q". I don't know what they did but it's now much harder to mark someone, either You have to "see more" of him, or on a long range be very precise. I have no idea why did they implement that. I know spotting was a bit OP but people still didn't learn to use it. When I've played Grand Basar for the first time and I've tried out mortar changes my minimap was empty... Vehicles are the same, just people spotting.
After the patch all the coop-weapons were unlocked. Oo I first thought it was the server I played on, but I just checked Battlelog. Either the weapons require less points post patch or there is some mistake. Anybody else experiencing this?
Sigh, i dunno what it is today, but my last 50 deaths as infantry were from helis and tanks. And its not that i just dont die that often, i die every 30 seconds. Its really annoying and im so on tilt right now.
Btw anyone noticed the antenna collapsing on caspian when the game is about to end? Wish it would be destroyable at all times and not scripted
^Yes, the required points got decreased to 30%. G3a3 went from 440k to 160k.

Yep. It would seem it unlocked all the coop guns for me as well. I was about 3/4 of the way through getting them all before the patch.

Call me terrible...but 120 games in, and I didn't know you could spot......lol. So how and what do you do again?

Press Q with your target over a enemy. Regardless of what type, enemy plane, enemy tank enemy or foot soldiers. A red triangle will appear over their head, indicating their position on the minimap/field of vision until they leave your Line-of-Sight. Its very useful to let your teammates know where the enemy is and as the spotter, you get 10points for every enemy spotted and that your allies killed, while spotted.
Those points rack up fast when you fly a MAV and spot for your teammates for example
You're using the mav wrong bro, use it for roadkills :p
In all seriousness, i cant wait for b2k maps. These maps are getting old quite fast (Op metro can diaf) as i mainly play CQ large. Wake Island looks sex (Only seen ps3 footage, hopefully its same as old)

Im joking I dont even have the MAV yet haha. Id only use it to get the surveillance medal then id be done with it.
Just uploaded another gameplay commentary video where I play on Kharg Island. I usually give tips and share the tactics I use in all my commenatry videos. I use C4 to troll some snipers and the final score is 25-5.

I now feel like I've missed out on about a million points, as well a feeling like a total n00b. -_- Thanks.
So my brother bought the PS3+BF3 pack a couple days ago. Because of his job, he can't play a lot so I'm playing from time to time in order to help him unlock stuff. Of course I use a gamepad, and MAN this is freaking hard! I fear that mastering the ps3 joysticks may take a long time tbh.

haha, well it's good for me because I don't have someone to do coop with
