I've been in jet's for a little over 11 hours total, I am basing those tips off of my own experience. You make it sound like I'm spreading Soviet propaganda or some shit, grow up, not everyone sits around literally reading every number and graph on the game, my "misinformation" has won me many many dog fights. Its great if you want to go out and fact find every little thing to help others out but try not to be such a dickhead in the process.
No I made it sound like you're misinformed: after that I explained why you were misinformed and provided proof of this. Now you aren't misinformed and you can tell people the proper information.
Also that "sit around" comment made me lol. There were only 2 numbers and there was no graph to analyze, so it only took me 5 minutes to actually learn the approximate cornering speed. To get your information you've spent 11 hours flying versus a playerbase where 99% of people can't fly because a good chunk of them are misinformed.

Well, with the MAV....the most important thing is pure uninterrupted speed. You have to travel a good 3 seconds or so uninterrupted for you to hit anything with it hard enough to kill, and the flight path of the MAV makes that fairly difficult. If you hesitate, pull off the acceleration, tap the ground or any other object, you won't be going fast enough to hurt anyone.

lol this. Well played, DICE.
Also I think my game just updated, as my computer was lagging like hell and the BF3 directories seemed to have some files changing, but origin tells me absolutely nothing. Worst program ever.
Speaking of single player i tried to play it just to see the pretty locations but it grew way too tedious way too fast. The mission where you fly as a passenger in a Jet might be the lamest mission of anything I've ever played.
Not sure why they even made a single player to be honest.
• Allow players to join empty Squads alone, thus having 1/4 squad members best update, or bestest update?
Nevermind, • Squads that are currently empty will display as white -- if you wish to join an empty Squad, you can choose the first one marked with white text
False alarm Still cant be the leader of Echo Base of Hoth.
Got this game a short while ago but haven't been playing it until yesterday because of exams, experience so far has been pretty average...
Had some weird technical difficulties...the first being just dropped out every few games, no idea why.
The second is a bit weirder, I am having a few graphical glitches. I took a screenshot of one
As well as the ground just looking a bit off (I'm playing on medium but I still don't think it is meant to look like this) I get these weird square patches of light... Anybody have any idea why? Might have to email tech support if nobody here knows...
Another glitch (didn't get a screenshot of this) is that from any distance greater than like 30 metres, the ground just appears as a really really dark green colour (even when I know it is meant to be light green such as on Caspian). Makes picking things out a serious bitch, anybody know what could be causing this?
On a gameplay note, I haven't played any FPS on PC before so I suck, and since there is no way of playing against equally terrible people I am just getting stomped. To add to this I battle even more because everybody is pwning the shit out of me with upgraded IR scopes and supressers and a bunch of shit whilst I'm stuck there with my stock rifle barely able to get kills.
Really wish there was a way to play vs similar skilled players. Seems like a great game but with this + technical difficulties I'm having a hard time getting really into it...
Edit: Got some new screenies...
Seriously annoying...surely this isn't how it looks on medium?
Played a couple of rounds on caspian. Haven't noted a difference with the taclight, at least not in close quarters. Did the change not make it in? Also they nerfed the SCAR-H only on long range. Haven't noted anything there as well. Might have to test more.
