This started happening to me yesterday, I found by closing Origin/battlelog and restarting it stopped happening until I reboot my PC

Yep, I get it every single time I first try to play.

I wonder how Support is.
Support as a class is really good. You get basically unlimited ammo and later on you get claymores, C4, mortar. The guns are a bit either a hit or miss with you. I personally prefer the 2 stock LMGs because they don't have such huge recoil and have 2 firing modes. The LMGs you get as unlocks are pretty situational. All of them have only burst mode and a huge recoil. This can be offset by either the bipod or the grip. Personally I prefer the bipod myself because I can just lie down in a startegical area and rain down death, but grip is good for those kind of maps where you have to move a lot. The unlockable MLGs are really unforgiving to sprayers, but quite powerful.
Medics/Assaults are pretty useless with regenerating HP. I've ran out of bullets far more than I've found myself in need of a medkit stat.
Anyone know of some really nice NA servers, preferably East/Central time zones, that are full of pretty good people? Don't mind if Rush, Conquest, or whatever. Just want a nice server full of competent players on both ends that don't come down to curb stomps every game =/
I mean, don't get me wrong -- I enjoy losing more than winning a lot of the time. However, not when we lose by over 200 tickets and I'm the only one who did anything relevant to help the team.
This is pretty much just how it goes Fruscainte, when trying to find servers that are full my favorites list is usually dead (besides certain times of day for a few hours) and I have to find other servers, nearly 80 percent of games one or both sides seem as if they never played a BF or even FPS before. TL server and that Toronto one Torte in involved in are basically ghost towns besides from like 8pm central to maybe 11pm central, ever since Skyrim hit its basically always empty. Hopefully in a few months all the shit servers will vanish and people will be better in general though.

Yes this is all true. Unfortunately the skill base in Battlefield 3 is pretty low right now. On one hand it's a good thing because it means that BF3 is accessible and the noobs are sticking around and, hopefully, they will get better with time. On the other hand it really sucks when a third of your team (or more) is sitting in the base, won't drop kits, tries to play long range artillery with the battle tanks, etc.
What I'd really like to see are some organized 32 v 32 scrims, but that would require getting 32 people on at the same and split into squads to setup perks etc, and THEN finding 32 other people who would do the same. I think it will get there eventually but right now the community seems to be content with the pubstomp jamboree because it's so much fun. Speaking of which I think I might make that into a platoon lol.

DICE has put it out before that they like how PR does things and seems to respect the realistic factor that they put so well into there mods so I would think they'd release something one of these days. I haven't even remembered PR existed in a long time until you brought it up, is it still active and worth re downloading? I heard about there game they may release that isn't an actual mod, is that coming out anytime soon? Need more games like that which focus on real teamwork, its kinda sad lone wolf play still dominates FPS for the most part.
You have to slow down while doing turns, in a dog fight (unless needed to avoid AA, engineers etc) don't speed up, so if you get into a fight just continuously hold S and make nice loop turns. If you have air radar it makes it much easier to judge how hard the other jet is turning and you can usually get behind them. I have fought some people before where I had to literally turn and turn and turn for what felt like 5 minutes before I could finally get the drop on them. When you give it gas though your reducing how hard you can turn, usually most people will get frustrated and do this even if there "ahead" in a dog fight.

stop spreading misinformation. Jet cornering speed is at 310, maintain this speed/or try to stay in range 300-320 to get quickest turn.
I've posted this before in here I think
Why is teamliquid server always empty, its like a waste of money to have it up since everytime i see it its 0/64 or w/e

I've been in jet's for a little over 11 hours total, I am basing those tips off of my own experience. You make it sound like I'm spreading Soviet propaganda or some shit, grow up, not everyone sits around literally reading every number and graph on the game, my "misinformation" has won me many many dog fights. Its great if you want to go out and fact find every little thing to help others out but try not to be such a dickhead in the process.

Well, I mean, it's pretty standard for people to react harshly to gold league guys who tell people to FFE on XNC. I don't really see why it should be different when people give incorrect advice here. It's still TL.
I'm sure everyone appreciates any help that's going around, but if you get corrected by someone better, the appropriate response is not "grow up" tied to an insinuation that the other guy has no life and so has the time to work stuff out. We are, again, still on TL.

I had the same problem, my up/down mouse movements required too much movement for my tastes, and that's on a 3500dpi setting, whereas my roll (left/right) movement was too sensitive. Use WASD and the arrow keys to start, not the mouse. Way easier. I use the mouse to fly helis though, arrows keys are harder for that... you'll just role yourself into the ground.
And yeah, slow yourself down going into turns, blah blah etc.
Been playing around with the MAV a bit lately and i just cant figure out what exactly causes road kills, because sometimes i go full speed through the guy and its not counted and sometimes i get roadkills from guys that i thought i didnt even hit. Its really good on metro though since you always can refill with so many ammokits laying around, unlike on other maps.
