It was pretty nasty and he needed a operation and they put metal plates in his arm. He still barely cant move his arm without pain but today he wanted to play BF3 so badly, that he asked me if he could give it a try on my account anyway, so i let him. Needless to say he is very handicapped in his ability to aim, so i jokingly said to him that he should mount an IRNV scope because its so op that even he in his condition could smash some faces then (i was really just joking at that moment). Well, he did what i told him and finished the round on Kharg Island with a 11-7 KDR. We both laughed so hard after that and will always remember the IRNV as the InfraRedNoobVision, wich allows you to pwn even if your arm is broken. In all seriousness i think this scope is too powerfull and will be nerfed at some point because you already see more and more players using it in all circumstances. I used it too for a while and had my best results in that time. But now i stopped using it exept on metro and damvand peak and occasionally when i want to win a close match so badly. The reason i stopped using it the whole time is because it ruins the beautiful graphics in the game and that is one of the main reasons i bought BF3. And i dont care too much about my stats or have too much of an competitive drive while playing BF3 (atleast not yet) to withdraw the fun aspect of the graphics(i hope you understood what i want to say) IRNV also weakens the sneaky/stealthy aspect of the game that i like, by that i dont mean camping. I have a too short attention span to camp (wich is why i never play recon). What i mean is the tactical slow pushing and flanking style wich would be much stronger if that scope would be taken out of the game or heavily nerfed. The scope allows you pretty much to run and gun because you dont need to slowpush from cover to cover anymore and checkout the enviroment for enemys. Just scan with your scope every now and then and youre good to go. I thought quite some time about this scope and how it could be fixed to benefit the gameplay in my opinion. Just taking it out of the game would be bad too because its a nice addition to the game and a interesting modern tool of warfare. From a gameplay aspect, having in mind that more teamplay should be the maxim we strive for, the best solution i could come up with was that IRNV should have its accuracy heavily nerfed or that it should be taken out but a IRNF binocular should be added so people could use it for better spotting but not shooting. | ||

Personally, I think the scope should be an actual scope instead of a red-dot on LSD. If you put it at like 1.5x and gave it a significant ads-time penalty, that would be enough. Noobs would still use it for ezmode spotting, but its run'n'gun would be nerfed to the point where you're better off in a straight fight with irons or a holo. That's all you need. | ||

I formatted my pc, tried to install BF3 and I get an error saying to confirm the UAC windows prompt. Well it doesnt come up. I have tried everything, from administrator account, to removing UAC, disabling antivirus and Windows Firewall, compatibility modes in XP and Vista etc etc. (everything origin and EA has said that could fix it). They even go as far as saying "Try reinstalling your OS", well I just fucking did. I usualy dont rage over stupid shit, but this is going a little too far tbh, EA is bringing all those Steam-ing pile of shit memories from the first days of steam back to memory. /endrant | ||
