I have the same graphic cards (5770), an i7 920 (@3.4) and an Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R. I can run Caspain Border on High (@1680x1050) without any hiccups at all. (Ok sometimes the server is problematic with "rubberbanding", but the gameplay itself is fluid).

I thought my i7 920 (@stock speed) + 5870 Crossfire wasn't good enough for it. I even tried to format it and ended up the same. Then I tried to clock my CPU to to 3.3, it seems stable, however blue screen of death after few minutes of playing. By the time I sorted stabilized the overclock setting the beta ends. ![]()

I think this game has huge potential, but there's also a huge potential for players with abusive strategies. It can get frustrating at times. I lol'd hard at Flashlight-Snipers, i just don't get it why they would show me their position. There must be something i don't understand about sniping, because i felt like 66% of the people sniped with flashlights. The number of players who understand what they should do in Conquest mode is even lower than i expected. That must be the reason why the developers didn't integrate a proper map. It would make good players so sad to see at what senseless positions people are running around all the time. When they fix the netcode and get a good balancing going, then this will be the best team and tactic shooter game of all time. Do i trust in the developers? I don't know, honestly. This was basically a demo that made me buy the game, so i think it was a good idea to do the open beta.

You might be one of the MANY people that don't realize that scopes give off reflections regardless of any flashlights on the sniper. The reflection off a scope is also a lot less blinding than a flashlight.

Wow, i didn't know that, but still there's a lot of flashlight snipers, which you can see after they've killed you in the kill cam.

I tried out using the laser and lights to see if it helped when playing recon over just the glare but it seemed to be about the same tbh. Super useful for rifles like the SKS which is bad for sniping but great for close quarters fighting so you can blind back since you are always blind when fighting someone else anyways lol. Those lights really do give headaches too, happened to me many times. Yeah flashlight is useless on the sniper, and laser doesn't help as well since you'l usually be shooting slightly above your target unless you're up close. Maybe if they was a way to turn it on/off? I didn't find it in the options.
