Anyone have troubles with tabbing out of skyrim? Half the time I tab out and tab back in my window cursor shows up in the game along with the skyrim cursor. This happens regardless if I use full screen mode or borderless window.

I've had the same issue but it does not occur for me if I pause first. As in, Menu pause, not Character (Magic/Items/Skills) pause.

Edit: running borderless window, I should add

If you shift-tab to access the steam menu then alt-tab out, you won't have the cursor issue.

Anyone know of any good combat AI mods that don't affect stealth detection at all? I've used DUEL and deadly combat but both seem to knock you out of stealth the moment you fire an arrow. (enemies detect you too quickly or look for you for hours)

I'm thinking of trying a new semi-hardcore mode. Whenever I die I have to drop all my items and gold and reequip from scratch. Was thinking I'd go for sort of a paladin build.

I tried doing this by having one save every Mondas (turn autosave off). If you die within a week you have to start over obviously. No fast travel. Cart rides are frowned upon. Eventually I gave up though. When you die right before Mondas it is just too rage inducing to play everything you did over again.

Hmm, a number of my mods just don't seem to do anything. For example I have one that disables fast travel, I can fast travel. I have one that's supposed to add a book into inns that lets you fiddle with some survival options, the book is not there. I have one that is supposed to give you a power that lets you fiddle with need options, there is no such power. Strange.

If you have too many mods they can break each other. If two mods both modify the same object, one of them won't work.

My guess would be there is a fast travel to that tree house, but it could be anything so good luck finding it. Better off playing with a single overhaul mod than using a million small things. Personally think SkyRe is the best one I've played so far.

Hey guys, so the 50% off steam sale for Skyrim has another 4 hours left and I wanted to ask a couple of questions. First off, I have the game for 360 and have sunk about 200 hours into the game. My main question would be if there are enough mods or content available on the PC to warrant getting the game for $30. I only played 2 characters seriously (mage and an archer/theif) so if there are enough things to keep me interested in the PC version I could see myself sinking another 100+ hours in eventually.

How much better are the graphics with mods? I've seen there are mods to get rid of the boring starting missions, is there anything else interesting content wise available? I'll probably end up getting it so I guess I'm more or less looking for someone to sell me on it again

Yes, there's nigh infinite good user-generated content.

As in new quest line, world modifications(War in Skyrim), new areas, new weapons.

Heck, take any aspect of the game and there's a mod that adds more.

This includes graphics.
