I never played fallout 3 so im not sure how it ended up working out, but that sounds awful for gameplay/replayability, no?

If i never had played fallout 3 i would think the same, but fallout 3 level scaling was pretty good, as a matter of fact, i had no idea this was the system for Fallout, i'm shocked, actually..

i really can't care less about the vanilla game. crossing fingers that beth gives the mod community as much freedom as possible. this is what made the games for me.. spent more time customizing than actually playing...

Yeah me too. It makes sense, the dificulty level never got any easier which is good for gameplay.

Read that there is no 64-bit version of the PC game. Fuck bethesda so I wont be able to use 6gb of ram and run the high graphical demanding game optimally? PC rules fucking consoles.

I really hope it will be a great game though.
Are you insane? I loved Oblivion beyond belief, played that game for so long.
I'm talking about the 360 version aswell, i just loved it, especially the music.

Fast travel costs money.
Sprinting drains your stamina.
You can sleep in killed NPC's bed.

These things were fixed in oblivion with mods (not sure about the bed), but its good to see bethesda listen to the fanbase over little things like this. Hopefully I won't need to install a ton of mods for this game.

I already pre ordered it for my PS3 like 3 months ago.

I can't recall any direct lies from the Oblivion hype but they definetly twisted the truth so much that the product we all got was pretty underwhelming compared to the hype. Still a great game though.

If this is true that is stupid...
That is just pure laziness imo.

Exciting stuff! One minor complaint I had about Oblivion is that towns could feel a little dry. I like that fact that Taverns will play a big role in advancing the plot/gathering information. I'm really looking forward to the perks system; at times it just felt like the customization in Oblivion was a bit shallow ad indistinct.

Hope there is the infinite money glitch lol! I am far too lazy to get it the real way, although I suppose I should try it for a more immersive experience.

money was never really an issue for me. In Oblivion with all the Glass armor dropping you had enough money anyway

What, why no 64 bit version? Enabling more memory for all of us is literally nothing more than a few clicks for their programmers (and someone who uploads the new dlls and .exe to their server).
I'm guessing (or at least strongly hoping) that they release this afterwards as an optional patch of some sort.
