Mickey's Magical Quest. Now that's a hell of a game.
Lion King, obv.
Super Adventure Island 2
Claymates. Such an incredibly underlooked gem of a platformer. Still play it today.
My god did this topic make me so incredibly nostalgic. Thankfully my super nintendo and all my games are just in my closet. Time for a night of childhood fondness.

Conker's Bad Fur Day: the greatest game of all time, especially when you're seven.
|
One of the first games I played and still one of my favorites:
(Final Fantasy IV)
|
007 Golden Eye which grew into Perfect Dark Starfox Warcraft to starcraft.
|
Though this game came out before I was born I played this through my childhood. First game to be localised in Korean I believe.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
|
|
Starcraft Broodwar I remember bringing the prima strategy guide to school.... man.... Conker's Bad Fur Day I would rent this game every weekend for about 3 years.... Probably should have just bought it.... Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance I Also rented this game every weekend for a year. Diablo I & II The most fun I ever had with an RPG game. Pokemon Red Nuff Said? lol...

Ultima 3
Wizardry
|
Crash Team Racing. Period.
|
Spy vs Spy

Here are games that defined my childhood negatively. I saw a lot of them in my house but I totally hated them:
The Secret Island of Dr. Quandary. My brother played it all the time when I was still in early elementary school. Goddamn it scared the shit out of me every time that doll possessed you in the beginning. I hated this game but I loved watching my brother solve the puzzles. Dolls have raided my nightmares ever since.

Kings Quest 5. Again, my brother played this a lot and we all strained our prepubescent minds to figure out how to progress, but we could never understand the significance of clicking every damn pixel in every screen just to find key items. It was also a huge deterrent when random shit like bees, sea monsters, inn keepers, harpies, and who knows what else that dev team could pull out of their ass would come out and kill you at every wrong click you made. It didnt help that the main character was a huge pussy and couldnt defend himself for shit. And whos the fucking genius who came up with the idea of buying a custard pie just so you could throw it at the yeti 2 gameplay hours later? "Gee, why didnt I realize that pies werent meant to be eaten?"
I hate adventure games.

Blade Runner
This game blew my mind when I first played it. The immersion. The depth of characters. The puzzles. The 13 different endings (I still haven't uncovered them all). Seriously read this review http://feltham.ca/shut-up-and-play-this-blade-runner/ and then play it. Random fact: I didn't know the movie existed until the early 2000's. For a while after that I thought the movie was based on the game. That's how awesome it is.
Planescape Torment
![[image loading]](http://ui20.gamespot.com/2099/planescapetorment012_2.jpg) This is by far my favourite rpg. I think it's better than baldurs gate 2. I love the character progression. They just don't make games like they used to. The scenery and landscape looks better than 90% of the 3d crap floating around these days.

quake... first ever game i played. and i was 3 years old at the time.
BEST GAME EVAR, rage was had though. also all other amazing N64 games.
i spent unhealthy amounts of hours on this when i was a kid. Have to admit, i still do.
i can't imagine how empty a life would be without this game... best game ever.
implying this game didn't change my life forever would be a lie.
