My latest creation. It's just to the south of my quarry, which is just to the east of spawn2. If you bring your girl here, I can't promise you action, but damn if I'm not trying

Although if it wasn't using that much for you before, then there's something wrong. Are you sure it hasn't always been like that? I mean, 600k is only about 614mb of RAM. Minecraft needs a minimum of 512 to really run, so perhaps your lag/fps issues are caused by your memory usage being too LOW, and not too high. I'm not entirely sure, though. If you want you can PM me a screenshot of your task manager + your game's built in debug menu (the one that shows FPS and all that stuff). EDIT: I somehow overlooked the part where you said it happens on servers and not just locally. Have you tried deleting your C:\Users\%username\AppData\roaming\.minecraft folder and re-downloading the game client? You'll lose your single player save files and stuff, so back them up first. But it sounds like somehow your client got corrupted or something. I was gonna do this, but it seems to have straightened out today. It just seems that biomemod and my computer dont care for one another because it makes ridiculous maps that are a bitch to load when the chunks are initially formed... my usage dropped below 400k though. Maybe there was something funky going on, who knows. Thanks though!

I just stopped updating the list in the op a long time ago because I used to do everything manually and alphabetized but now I have a more automated way of adding people, which unfortunately isn't alphabetized. I suppose people could still CTRL+F for their name, though. Whitelist is being removed altogether in three days and the thread op will be changing so I'll be the first to admit I've slacked off on updating it this month. You and anyone else who sent me a PM should be on the list though, but at this point I encourage you to simply wait until beta before getting too involved. You can look around the current server and check things out if you want, though.

I have PM'ed the OP about a whitelist request afew days ago, dunno if its been accepted tho. "Failed to connect to server" "Connection refused: connect" You generally get that when you're typing in the wrong server info. Are you using liquid.stasysgaming.com or 184.154.49.131? The IP is for the test server, which is offline so... make sure you're using the domain server instead.

PLEASE HELP!!! It's obviously something on your computer if your other ones can connect. And since you reformatted and changed your network card, that limits it a lot. a) Try a different ethernet cable b) Update the drivers for your network card (Right click on My Computer > Manage > Device Manager > Network Adapters > Right click on your card > Properties > Driver > Update) c) Roll back your network drivers (Same as above, only Rollback instead of Update) d) Make sure your router isn't blocking ports to that one computer for some reason

Here is a little tip for those submitting - Changing the render distance may give a better picture. Short render distance makes the caves seem bigger, long render distance is better for showing large parts of the caves.

Time of day effects the color of the haze. If you take daytime shots with a short render distance you'll get alot of blue haze, if you take nighttime shots you get more black haze. Also, F1 turns the hud off so you can take screenshots without stuff blocking your view of what you're looking at.

Does anyone have any ideas for brick buildings/sightseeing attractions? On my SSP I went directly from cobble/smoothstone to halfsteps/wood/planks buildings and haven't really found any good looking brick projects to replicate/play with.

Reboot of server in just a few days, will be lots of space then It's hard to build stuff that looks good with bricks. A tip is that trees and bricks look great together so you could always work from that I guess. Also, bricks are very, very hard to create since you need clay and clay is super rare. Do not expect to be able to get more than 20 blocks of bricks per hour of searching, and this is when the server is brand new.

I know, my SSP world has a couple months of work on it and tbh I always found double steps to look way better than bricks next to unrefined wood, now I have 3 and a half stacks of bricks laying in a chest and I don't really know what to do with them :/ Also I am starting to get annoyed at ice not growing -.- I am almost tempted to invhack some because the closest ice biomes is twice my territory away from my base-.-

If you just boat along the coast you find clay pretty quick. Hopefully boats are finished when beta goes live (IE, they can move and be controlled)
