My TV has a refresh rate of 120 HZ, so I don't notice any screen lag. Most of the top players I've read stuff on (mostly at mlgpro), use no bigger than a 24" screen, and they use a monitor instead of a TV. I doubt my TV has much to do with my skill level though, because in Halo 3 I played the same on a 19" LCD monitor, a 20" CRT, and a 32" LCD. And when I first started Halo 3, we dominated our games. We hit near 50 in the original play lists when they first came out, so we were playing very good players from 1-50 (I think my high was 45 or 47, and the same for my friend I most consistently played with). I did notice a bit of disruption when I'd play on my friend's 42" screen though. But he played at the same level as me on his screen, so I think it's just a matter of adjustment. | ||

I play on a 26" LCD, and it's just fine. Occasionally I play on a 42" LCD, and the only problem I have is that I'm not used to such a big screen. My aim doesn't lag at all. | ||

I feel kinda like you, Lemons. I'm usually not the main slayer, but I always try to get to somewhere where I can see the whole map, and then just get the enemies' locations. And I also try to remember all the weapon spawn times, because I know that my friends sure as hell won't, and we otherwise don't stand a chance. | ||
