I got a question: What's better, the Needle rifle or DMR?
Like take Rumble Pit Rifles where your choice is NR w/Plasma vs DMR w/Frag. I go NR because of the plasma, and the faster fire rate means you can steal kills much better in the rumble pit environment. I know supposedly the DMR is better, but with melee and nades going off, you want to get that faster, guaranteed headshot vs the chance based bloom of the slower DMR.
I know the DMR is supposedly better, but the NR is just more solid with less bloom and faster fire. I guess maybe in that gametype NR+Plasma is better, but in all other instances you want NR? I just feel NR works better in rumble pit, as well in most situations, but DMR is better on paper maybe.

Closer to the release of the game (and in the beta), the NR was far supurior to the DMR because it had a larger mag size, faster fire rate, and seemingly less recoil. But somewhere along the line (I had a period of 4-5 months where I didn't play reach much at all), Bungie updated it so that the NR has more recoil, even more than the DMR does.
Of course, I don't have any facts to base this off of besides my personal experience, but lately, the DMR has been feeling a lot more reliable.
