More to the topic, from the patch notes, it looks like the patch fixed almost none of the numerous bugged/wrongly tooltipped abilities. At least the patches are fairly frequent so we can hope for fixes later on. | ||

But its not really a drama for this game, still really irritating though. | ||

 ah well, still feels better than longbow (which i swap to though, the aoe is nice and has a big cd. the rapid fire thing isn't bad either) for leveling. | ||

I think PW thieves themselves are really one dimensional and bad, not as much as DD all in / deathblossum builds but its so easy to dodge PW that really unless you catch someone by surprise you're not going to be killing anyone. Its a really low skillcap build, especially if you pair it with haste since all it is is hoping to catch someone off guard (which is a skill in of itself, but the majority of SP thieves just go in and pistolwhip nothing so i don't think many people approach the build that way, SP could probably be a decent support build if people went that route, but maybe S/D would be better for that idk) imo the nerf was unwarranted and a pretty decent nerf to pve champion solo, the only thing I think needs to be changed about PW is the fact the thief evades while pistol whipping. If I dodge it I should be able to do massive amounts of damage or be able to save my teammates with headshot who are being PW'd. instead it just evades for no reason (same thing with the warrior steal skill, these abilities shouldnt be immunity to damage) | ||

They really need to adress the Deathblossom Caltrop spec instead. deathblossum build can be dealth with as any class that is able to kite, as such I think it doesn't need to be changed at all: I use 10/30/0/10/20 in hindsight I could have stayed in and killed the two thieves + their pets at the end with clusterbomb, but whatev. point is to show that kiting is DD's pretty huge weakness. Even though I feel as if the last 1v1 was a mediocre kite, it still worked well (basic idea is to kite them low enough to have a huge HP advantage so that I can switch to dagger pistol and finish them off with stabbing and headshot heal). I think its an ok bunker spec if you have to tho, but in pick up games or wvwvw I feel it isn't really that useful of a build for straight up fighting. I hear a lot of good things about caltrops + shortbow condition thieves though, but I havent seen anyone play it. Descriptions however make it sound like it would be really powerful, much more so than deathblossum for damage output at least. I could see it being really good though | ||

I've made my own guild and joined another one for boosts. Annoying that you can't really have a solo guild going in this game as you will never have enough influence to get the upgrades (save for spending 1000g on letters that give influence). I probably will eventually just to get more storage space, and focus solely on those upgrades, but getting them all seems pretty rough. | ||

I've managed to get a guild bank, and two first tier upgrades (politics + emblem, and economics) am currently heading for tier 2 economics, unfortunately still got ~300 influence to go. edit: have yet to get up to the story mission where you get a letter, even though i've been 80 since like a week after launch :S | ||

1 try to get 100% exploration? 2 try to finish story mode 3 try to get exotic gear? What are your suggestion? I really like this game but i am a casual player (I play like 1 hour/day). So I think I can not do everything that I want. May be try to finish story mode first? | ||

I could see it being really good though Check out Jesiiz on Twitch for Shortbow condi, it's super effective build and it doesn't suffer from being kited like deathblossom which I think is just for trolling around. Shortbow version is the srs bsns version. The immobilize shot from stealth is soo powerful. I prefer to have dagger/pistol as the 2nd set for headshot and blackpowder. Actually, now that I think about it, I could probably do even better with sword/pistol, for an extra teleport and a stun. (I have a horrible quality VoD on my channel that you can check out for the gameplay as well, tourney games going after 15:00 something.) | ||
