I am an original Asheron's Call player(the best MMO to ever exist) PvP in that game was fucking amazing, had a good BW feel to it where skill was rewarded, world was incredible to, no sandbox bullshit, no ridiclous stories, lots of killing and exploring.
I did vanilla WoW for a year(second best MMO) and that game was really good, mainly because after 6 years of War3 I got to live in the world I had fought in. PvP was really cool to.
From there, on I tried Warhammr as the focus was PvP, I could give a fuck less about PvE. Warhammer failed hard as we all know. I wasnt burned out on the game, however the game burned itself out and I then I quit.
From there I did SWTOR, that game was like crack for the first month. Really good story line, but before i knew it I was burned out to hell, got two characters to twenty and the second I was on Tatooine I was done. so much fucking grinding with meh PvP.
So GW2 kind of intrigued me with the random event stuff(like i said I fucking hate generic "kill 5 bunnies" PvE) and with some better takes on PvP(so it seems) than the stupid fuck run of the mill games weve seen in the last years.
I also love the idea of no subscription, I hate spending 60 dollars plus another $30 for the two months I play the game getting burned out.
So can somebody who has done a lot of the beta help me out? I want an MMO thats immersive(not sandbox follow the path of stupid fucking quests) and more importantly I want a PvP system that is entertaining and is a huge focus of the game.
What help you exactly want? Expand and describe the game from our perspectives?

Well I'm a little confused by your use of the term "sandbox." Most people would define a sandbox game as one where you can explore the whole world and do whatever the fuck you want, not a game where you are forced along a certain path of quests (that seems to be your definition). GW2 is a "sandbox" in that while there are "quests" so to speak, you can do any or all of them that you want, and in any order that you want. In addition you are rewarded with experience/items/gear in PvE for exploring/gathering/crafting in addition to killing and questing.
IMO GW2 is the best MMO to come out since vanilla WoW. It's the only one that has recreated that feeling I got playing WoW back in November of 2004. As long as you can break the MMO habit of quest-hunting as the sole purpose of leveling (you can do it in GW2, but it's difficult to find enough of them), you'll realize you can do whatever the fuck you want and it will get you to max level eventually.

FYI sandbox isn't the term you're looking for. You mean themepark where you simply go from quest to quest (WoW is a themepark MMO). In a sense GW2 is also a themepark MMO but with some freedom to completely skip all PvE themepark elements and do PvP instead, or do a mix of both. Also, there's a little more emphasis on exploring and crafting. I feel like GW2 takes good parts of themepark and mixes them into a sandbox-like environment. You get into the world and have your first quests but what you do next is kind of up to you. You can sit on the themepark ride and go from quest to quest, or you can wander off and do your own thing.
If it's immersion you want, you can have an immersive themepark MMO. I wouldn't say WoW is very immersive at all, but definitely feel GW2 is. As far as PvP being a huge focus of the game, it certainly is and can be almost the entire focus if you want it to be, but the PvE is surprisingly awesome (IMO, and I'm typically a PvPer in an MMO).
Was doing the fire elemental world boss in the Asura starting zone the other day with like 50 other people and it took like half an hour because almost everyone died like 10 times at least and had to keep running back/getting ressed.
It was a pain in the ass but it was legitimately fun lol

Oh man, I killed that guy once in the last BWE and I died like 10+ times. It's hard as hell with his one-shot ability and there's a lot of adds spawning too.

Currently a human at level 8, and I only have 1 greenstar quest, suggesting level 10. I've explored a bit and don't seem to be able to find anymuch else at my level, any suggestions? = \
Exploration is a great way to level, when I needed an extra level for my human thief, I just explored all of divinitys reach. Tons of EXP from the vistas and the points of interest, and then a sweet bonus when you hit 100%.
Here's basically how I go about playing PvE: 1. If i'm at the recommended level for personal quest, i do that. 2. If there's a heart area not above my level, I do it. 3. If there are no heart areas at my level, but one for a level above mine, I do that one (if you play decently, fighting 2-3+ level mobs is not a big deal unless you fight more than one at once). 4. Exploration. If there's no heart area in my level in all the areas I've discovered, I make sure to do everything in the map. Points of interest, vistas, skill points, waypoints, etc. 5. Explore new areas. Sometimes, you will find heart areas even lower than your own level that you simply missed.
Doing all of the above should keep you at a decent level, especially if you have two crafting disciplines and actively use them with everything you find. If you still feel behind, going to another starting area or doing WvWvW is probably your best bet.

Did him on saturday. We ended up using a "run in with a ranged weapon, shoot at the elemental and dodge your heart out until you die. Respawn. Repeat." strategy. Really nice dodge training, i once survived almost 90s circlestrafing the boss with 5 of the adds chasing me and everything around me going up in flames.
Sadly he's completely not worth it, i paid 10 silver repair costs for not even 1 silver reward and only a small amount of exp and karma.
Did some WvW today and they really need to tune down the graphic effects in PvP. It wasn't that my computer lagged, no, i had no FPS drop even in the all-out 30+vs30+ battle... but i couldn't see anything with all those explosions, projectiles, etc. around me obscuring my vision.
So I rolled an engineer but he seems easy to die and hard to kill stuff, is it just my impression ? xD I bought the game 2 months before but I just did one 40 min beta test so I don't know nothing yet ....

I also rolled engineer and was a bit underwhelmed at first. I will say that I felt much stronger once I picked up flamethrower and some traits. I'll also say that pistol/shield and pistol/pistol both outperformed rifle in my opinion, by a long shot. I felt so weak with a rifle and as soon as I switched back to pistol/pistol with flamethrower kit and rifle turret I felt invincible.
Boggler, I think the elementalist has good support spells.
Yeah. Water is alright I guess. I doubt any support heals will be as good as people healing themselves and learning to keep moving and especially dodging.
Still looking for a NA guild. I am only level 10 and can relevel on any server if need be.

Very vague question. In PvP they are very good. PvE, I cannot speak for, but PvE seems pretty easy for every class anyways (only level 12 at the moment).
A good PvP video on Necromancer play:
I think condition-based builds with Necromancers are strongest, as shown in the video above. You will have little burst dps, but great sustained dps and support utility.
