Open Beta should be short, and they intend to release it immediately after beta. Unless they intend to go through the summer with betas, which I highly doubt, it would be stupid to release it in the middle of Summer. It's probably coming in May. | ||

Think I read it in this thread, but other people claim to have sources that they said beta will be short and what not. I haven't been reading/listening to interviews until recently so the guy who claimed gw1 beta lasted 6 months might be completely different for gw2. I have no idea, I just don't get to optimistic about a good release date in may because A. That's when school ends for me so I would have a lot of time to play and for some reason games never release when I have a ton ton ton amount of time .I may be completely wrong, if they are planning a short 1-2 month beta then awesome, hope its going to have a good launch and can play soon. Do I think that will happen? No not really I just would be shocked if they released it at an awesome time  | ||

You could preload the game and one a certain time on friday, you would start playing. Monday morning or such, you can't log in anymore and have to wait for another invite. | ||
