you dont need to use rorg while you are wearing 6 pieces so if you dont have a better ring try aiming for a cindercoat

skill wise using mm-conflag sucks because once you get to higher torment/GRS you spend more time kiting/trying to not to die so you'll need force armor,99% of the time you'll be running/teleing away from mobs while firebirds dot kills them
strongarm bracers are another thing that you should aim for, it procs off your bhole giving you a lot of dmg although they are the second rarest bracers iirc

I should take MM out of the build entirely then? how would I fill my AP without it? I don't run out often (1-2 times a rift if its super dense) but my wpn dmg is low enough that I sometimes need to keep hammering after the FB dot caps just cuz 3k/s is slow enough that I'm kiting around, waiting for em to die. I feel like I should wait for a better weapon to take MM out, Ive been using it to reach 3k faster on some packs as well.
Blazar/Apocalypse/Mammoth (even with SS) stacks it a little slower than I had thought it would.

Ok, I took MM out of my build and just adjusted how I play. I put Force Armor in its place. Once I've got the dot up on something it dies pretty quick. I cleared a t6 rift for the first time with this guy, thanks for the advice

Any fun dps builds I can make with a Thunderfury?
Im pretty bored out of my mind with my DH, and I tried making a Sader, ended up not liking that class.
Preferably a Wizard build or something.

Without a furnace, a sunkeeper with close to 30% elite dmg is probably the next best weapon. A crafted devastator also work well. I'd probably rank SS below all of those. Why do you have a diamond in your helm? CDR doesn't really do much for this build.

is it reliable? no not really but its probably better than any other weapon for it

I have thunderfury, ess of johan, the freeze shield and cc abilities activated on my templar. I have black hole and the bane of the trapped slow on my wizard. The idea is that the gem is powerful enough that having multiple unreliable cc abilities still makes it worth a slot.

The diamond in my helm is for Blazar. Force Armor kinda makes %hp in a gem kinda useless in t6 dontcha think?

Although there was a brief time on PBE when you could. Asheara Set with a couple of the original Wreath Lightnings was just about the most broken thing I've ever seen.

These guides are great. I haven't seen any diablofans builds until now and the gear list near the top is pretty cool.
I'm still surprised by the amount of variance between Firebird skill builds though, on here and other sources. Some with Mirror Images, some with the slow time bubble (seems to be more for group play), some that just stick to buffs + all three damage skills, etc.

Any experienced Witch Doctors out there? I'd been playing 4pc Zuni pet doc, super basic build until I got my pieces to switch to Jade. I'm really liking the Jade build but obviously it requires more attention, is more dangerous and is in general 'harder' than afk pets kill stuff build I've been farming with.
Gear: I know there are some pieces I'm still missing and some things that can be improved but for gambling, would going for Mojo be my focus for now? I'd like to find the snake mojo that splits dmg with pets to help avoid RIP.
Tips: I seem to run out of mana, and I'm not sure exactly the most efficient way to Jade still. I'm thinking of swapping out Pierce the Veil for something like Gruesome feast, or perhaps another pet/player talent to buff my dog up since I'm using TMF still. I was doing T5 rifts with pet build, but lowered all the way to T2 for my first Jade runs until I get the hang of it. I've managed to go up to T4 pretty faceroll but only attempted GR21 which I cleared in ~7.5 minutes. I'm scared to go higher until I'm more comfortable with Jade.
Also, if it wasn't obvious, this is HARDCORE, so if you could try and cater advice knowing I can't glass cannon and surviving is extremely important that'd be awesome! :D

1) Swap those Bracers out for Strong-arms. You really won't have mana problems once you start doing jade right.
2) Pierce the Veil can be swapped for Gruesome feast. Its generally better all around. Its pretty easy to keep more than 2 stacks up.
3) NEEED a new weapon. This is number one. Furnace is best, but on hardcore, you can also use Sunkeeper / and Ukaipan serpent.
4) That mojo sucks. Get the snake or the frog. Both are easy to get off Kadala.
5) Trading the Dog for Haunt will help quite a bit as well. Extra CC, and it applies Toxin Gem. Plus, you'll be able to use a better Ring. Cold SOJ would be nice.
Jade is a lot scarier than Pets. You'll never be as safe, but you can certainly go a lot faster.

This is my first character on Hardcore Seasonal so gear options are a bit uhh scarce. I'll try to address each bit of advice!
1) Strong-arms are hard to find, I found (1) pair so far and... they were Lightning and Strength, so that... really sucks. Is it worth using Lightning Strong-arms (reroll the Str) over 20% cold 6% crit bracers?
2) Sounds good, I'll try that out tonight
3) Yes, unfortunately it's the best weapon I've had drop so far, I will keep looking!
4) I have a thing of the deep, but it's really poorly rolled and even using reroll it's not going to match my current. Is it worth it? I'd probably lose like 10% dps 10% toughness and the 15% haunt dmg, but gain the frog pick-up range. I also have a poorly rolled Homonculous. What would you recommend? I'm currently gambling Mojo's so hopefully something comes up soon.
5) I've only kept the dog because TMF, I actually have a pretty nicely rolled Leoric signet, but I wasn't sure if a TMF dog, to assist with damage soaking and output would be better than a higher dps ring (like 5%) and no dogs. Someday I'll get unity/SOJ but yeah. :|
