Although it would seem Act 3 is an entirely different monster.

I think the way it is right now... if you change the setting to Monster Power 1...all the mobs in all the acts become mLevel 63's. So Act 1 & Act 2 mobs become 63's. Then that opens up the highest iLevel item affixes.

I have some gear that would probably be an upgrade to people who just hit 60, and id rather help someone than vendor it, or try selling it for a few hundred thousand. I would just make a thread in the D3 sub forum announcing it and give details on how the giveaway will work and such; I don't see why that would be a problem.

Thanks, last time I was here there weren't so many specific sub forums, I didn't wanna clutter things up or post in the wrong place.

Googled and tried http://d3dps.net/ and http://diablodamagecalculator.com/, and seems they are pretty exact. Guess I must have messed around last time i tried. =)

Can anyone suggest a good Act 3 farming route that involves as few running/kiting enemies as possible? A one-hour long continuous route for a mediocre-gear-level tank barb who likes to take things a bit slow and steady would be ideal.

Try getting a weapon with +cold damage, to switch to just for those pain in the ass enemies. Cold damage weapons snare enemies with any physical damage (in your case, every hit!). If you're using Ignore Pain, try using Leap + Iron Impact instead - it gives similar protection, but leap is a shorter cooldown and gives you mobility too.

Cold damage weapons have hilariously low damage, even if it was perfectly rolled.

Yeah, I do use Leap for many purposes including chasing those bastards down. But sometimes I miss when they change direction or I anticipate their destination incorrectly. So annoying! I don't know if I like the idea of switching weapons though. I don't ever switch gear out mid-fight for any other purpose like MF swap or anything. Ultimately I'd like to make my farming runs as low maintenance as possible, even if they're a bit less efficient. I dunno. Maybe it won't be so bad chasing the running monsters down once I upgrade my boots (currently 0 movespeed). How about getting an SoJ with +cold damage. Cold damage weapons have hilariously low damage, even if it was perfectly rolled. Hmmm...that might be a good idea if I can afford it. After all, it's the extra long fights with Extra Health elites that are the most annoying. And I do need to upgrade my rings eventually. Thanks for the help, guys. Edit: Whoa! SoJ is definitely waaay beyond my budget.
