yea as bad as nintendo/microsoft/sony/ea is, activision's "many more call of dutys and guitar heroes for the foreseeable future" takes the cake.

It is ironic - you are beating the dead "activision" horse yourself.
As for E3, I'm waiting to see if Valve will announce anything other than portal 2, and to see what Blizzard has to say.

Not really since I haven't bought anything Activision related since Call of Duty 2.

You, personally, don't have to bring something up again and again in order for it to be considered a dead horse. I can't click on a topic on TL these days without seeing "ACTIVISIONblizzard" and "money-grabbers."

Uh right. I brought up the problem with Activision maybe a couple of times, but compare it to posts and threads on here, it's harmless.

Hardly any new ideas, just recycled crap.
Sequels are fine and all if they're spaced well enough. Like for example it's about time Twisted Metal had a sequel, but most of these titles are just churned out like crazy.
Not just 2010, but 2009 as well with games like:
- Uncharted 2 - Modern Warfare 2 - Killzone 2 - Assassin's Creed 2 - Mass Effect 2 - Bad Company 2

See the main reason why sony didn't announce a PSP2 or whatever the name of the successor is because 1st of all: Their current PSP/PSP Go are both not selling so well, mainly because of piracy of every game the developers are making, thus they made the new PSP/PSP Go campaign which launches this month, in the States you get the Go with 3 games: Rachet and Clank, GT, and LBP for free, while in Europe you get 10 GAMES for free with it. I think they are bundling in more games with the PSP 3000 too. So with all upcoming launch titles, they are hoping for a great boost to the PSP's name. 2nd of all: They knew that Nintendo will announced the 3DS in their press conference, so they dont wanna duke it out with their rival at the same time, they would rather have a look at the competition look for ways to possibily enhance their succesor product, and announce it most probably at TGS this year, because if they wait too long, the 3DS is going to eat the market as there is no competition to it.

Assuming the combat is actually somewhat skillbased, man I can see myself playing that <3 GW Orks so much.
I liked it, but who the hell are Vigil? Looked into them a bit and they aren't exactly well known, so it'll be a crap shoot. Can't see this having any chance of competing with SWTOR & WoW unless they really manage to do something special.
The 3DS looks so sick. I really wanna see in person how this 3D thing works and what it looks like. Wondering if the analog stick and dpad would be comfortable to use though.... And why is the power button under the A/B/X/Y buttons? weird spot -__-
We'll have to wait to see where Adam's adventure takes him next, but it looks to be worth the wait. The build we saw wasn't extremely polished, but it made it very clear that the development team understands the franchise and wants to stay true to its roots. No release date is yet announced for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but you should expect to see this single-player-only, role-playing/shooter/stealth hybrid on shelves sometime in 2011.
All, Fallout MMO announced and TERA:
Korean MMO, so I expect it to be way more hardcore than WoW, but with faster, free flowing action.
In Crysis 2, shaders look fantastic. Textures look awful, but they only have 2 levels there.
