ok so i missed the nintendo press conference. I dont get it, what made it so great? from the thread it sounds like the zelda demo kinda sucked (havent been able to watch yet). was it just announcements of a bunch of 3DS games?

they were having tech difficulties on stage with the zelda demo.

nothing really that ground breaking to be honest from the preview.

but the 3DS, it's going to steal the show from the entire e3. everything is going to pale in comparison to it.

Yeah, Nintendo's official demonstration of Skyward Sword had a ton of lag, but it seems that when journos/bloggers were playing at the booths, the controls were pretty responsive. Really curious about what was causing the super interference during the official demo though?

there were probably a hundred or so ppl using wireless to tweet updates and update their blogs and shit. using smart phones and or laptops. tons of interference.

there's really alot of factors, wireless bluetooth interference, bright lights may also affect the infrared sensor etc..

The Zelda game looked good, but the on stage demo had some problems, but nothing that has any reason to remain at release. But they announced a new Kirby game for the Wii which looked amazing, a new Donkey Kong Country game that looked really great, Epic Mickey which looked surprisingly good (considering that almost every 3rd party game for the console sucks), and a gameplay trailer of the new Metroid game. Then there was Golden Sun for the DS, and I think I'm probably missing some other things as well. But yeah then it was the 3DS and a huge amount of announced titles and 3rd party developers for it.

In general though they just had really good flow throughout the show, and no dragged out embarrassing moments like MS had (maybe Zelda was a bit long).
