I currently have:
+32.4 HP for Quints
+0.95 Magic Pen for Marks
+0.1 Mana Regen / 5 Sec for Seals (1.8 at level 18)
-0.05 Cooldowns per level (-0.9% at level 18)
I'm thinking of switching out my Magic Pen for something, because I'm not quite sure how effective it actually is. My mana regen and cooldowns seems pretty staple, especially on Kayle who needs both throughout the game. Often because I'm not getting blue due to having people on my team who need it more.
I was thinking for a moment of adding attack speed Marks, but that might be kind of retarded.
I saw the video of CLGame get owned and that one Kayle had no AS so I kind of assumed she must have had some AS runes because her items were: Mercs, Rageblade, and Madreds. I know it was very team dependent and all, but eh...
Madreds Bloodrazors? They have 40% AS. Rageblade passive is 4% AS/stack as well on its buff for +32%.

both madreds and rage blade add attack speed..
I personally run armor pen marks, mp5/lvl seals, mp5/lvl glyphs

All I learned from those 2 WCG games is that no-names apparently get ridiculously nervous playing 'names.' There's no other reason people that are 'top 1500' should have rolled over that easily with CLG fucking around so much.

its been like this for a lot of games.. I remember my first few MLG H3 tournaments, anyone with a name and you just get rolled..

is there any benefit of going hgb over grb with kayle since the patch? maybe even run tooth/grb/hbg?

Not really, considering GRB gives 30% more AS, more AP (when maxed), and almost as much AD and costs half as much as hextech. And really, that's all you're looking for afterall. Hextech kicks in way too slow for the extra nuke to matter much, either.

there is no reason to not get grb on kayle.. that second/third item is kind of up in the air.. not really sure whats best... they all work well, havent used madreds too much though.. ive only gotten HGB instead of Infinity edge once(since patch) and i couldnt really tell how much difference it made I was way ahead that game

You'd think they get like a bonus to attack damage and ability damage for being CLG the way the other team played against them. Stunned by Taric at max range under your tower protected by 2 teammates? Cleanse that shit cause you might die...
Also I get that you get a little nervous playing people better than you(well, some people do) because I've played plenty of other games, but this shit was ridiculous. This was a 2nd round game too, that was a 'top 32' team. I honest to god felt like we could grab a few randoms from LP and roll them, but I'm also 100% sure they'd play better because we aren't people who stream 8 hours a day.

not in store yet.. theyve been putting em in game before release(emummu etc was in the game before was in store), but Im planning on grabbing the alice skin as well.. as long as its not a "legendary" skin  like trist/heim and really high priced
