Bad advice. You can buy 30 level 1 runes for the price of 2 level 3 runes- and 30 level 1 runes are about as powerful as 17 level 3 runes. Sure, buying a ton of level 1 runes will set you back slightly towards the objective of getting your rune pages filled out with level 3 runes, but that objective takes a loooong time- hell, I'm not done yet getting a full page of tier 3 runes, and I've been at max level for a couple weeks now. Filling out your rune slots with level 1 runes comes first; Buying level 3 health quints (+32 HP) comes second; Gradually replacing level 1 runes with level 3 runes comes last. I went ahead and bought 6 t1 runes anyway. They didnt cost much and help a bit. | ||

Attack speed only though, and your damage will be pitiful. | ||

Lately I've been messing around with this priority for his abilities R>W>Q>E and it's been awesome for getting kills in the early game (not against every champ of course). Anyone play Amumu a lot and have an opinion on ability order? I've just found that if I land the Bandage Toss and can keep within Despair range, I do a lot of damage. Of course, if I chain stun with Q and R, I'm gonna be guaranteed in W range for a while. And I can do damage while chasing without ever having to stop to attack. Lots of people only get one level of Q and also get quite a bit of E but I love W so much more than E. And since I'm trying to kill champs, Q > E too. | ||

And since I'm trying to kill champs, Q > E too. another thing mummy is good for is rushing baron since he does %health damage. if you are in a good position, try to get baron asap. most of the time (unless you are behind or mess up severely) a baron buff can get you at least an inhibitor. even if you don't the xp and gold alone are good perks. also, you should avoid philo stone. regen is crappy in this game and the stone doesn't build into anything you need. try heart of gold if you want a money/5 item and just learn to control blue buff (big golem) for mana problems. | ||
