Yes, it seems like they've disabled the Konami code. But servers are kinda up. If you still get Amumu status, just refresh (f5) a few times. Teemo is wandering about. | ||

When the server is "busy" because its operating at capacity and players go "HURR D-DURR I'M PLAYIN ANYWAYZ" then the server becomes overloaded, resulting in the exact problem the busy status was intended to help prevent. I'm glad it's gone, though I enjoyed using it. | ||

I think you're flogging a dead horse when it comes to the amount of time investment required - there's no financial incentive to win in this game (due to a lack of tournaments) and the fact that the top teams are relatively unchallenged at the top combines to a lack of need to invest further time. That has nothing to do with game design etc. Edit: Also as has been implied there're only a handful of "top teams" in this game. CLG, GJ, jiji, L0cust, AoN(now defunct), and epik. These are teams lining up 5 big-name players and racking up like a 99% win rate against everyone but each other. | ||

They USED to be able to play more, but riot changed the way match making worked, and now top teams have a hard time finding people to play against. just saying... | ||
