How much more XP/IP do you get for not surrendering vs surrendering a minute before they kill you?

Ah ok, didnt know that. I'll just go afk in spawn zone then when I know its over

it's not worth the IP/XP boost at all. It's way more efficient for every game to be over at 15 minutes.

The problem isn't the games where the other team is in your base killing everything, its the games where the other team drags it out for 20+ minutes to get as many free kills as possible while idiot lowbies run around because "WE CAN STILL WIN CMON GUYS HONEST".
Those games suck dick.

Yeah those games do suck.
I meant for the games where we already have 2 inhibs down, might as well wait it out instead of surrendering. However, if the team kill score is like 0-20 and theres still 6 more towers left and it hit the 25 min mark, I would surrender right away.

You have to make sure that you always have her face downwards so you have a better view. That should be enough to own with her.

I refuse to surrender when I am equipped really well (GB/B/Boots3/Veil/Atmas/Red Elix) and all we need is one fight where not one of my allies suicides before it even starts. Of course we shouldn't be down 2 inhibs, baron, dragons, 10+kills... But often the game starts horribly (3 simultaneous deaths on top/bottom just today) and then my Ashe starts to kick in and we keep up in kills etc. or even start catching up. Then one battle goes not too well, and everyone wants to type out even if all it cost us was like 1 tower...

Ummm i correct myself. IMO Sonas heal is quite awesome low cooldown + 300~500 hp for u and ur teammate ...

Yeah sure, it's only 1 more xp/ip cause you have to wait, and even then you have to wait 2-3 minutes. DEFINITELY not worth it when you wanna chain games.

It's really funny how you can win games when you're so far behind.

Most people who play with me know I rarely surrender, even if I believe the game is almost certainly lost. I know this annoys some people, but I do it for a couple reasons:
1) I want to get better at this game, and I think the best way to do that is play against tough competition. Extending the game gives me an opportunity to fight against players that have item and level advantage. When you are out-gunned you have to little things with positioning, hit and runs, timing, and other trickery if you want to score a kill. At the end of the day, I think this extra practice against strong opponents has made me a better player in close games.
2) I feel my early laning phase is generally stronger than my late game. I've had more time to practice the early part of the game, so I feel pretty confident I understand the nuances of most matchups. I still feel like I'm learning how to deal with certain heroes and combinations in late game when they are fully geared. Spending more time in late-game situations gives me more experience and as my decision making improves, I feel more confident in being able to help my team decide when and where to engage.
3) I think too many people surrender very prematurely. I've come back to win countless games by scoring a Baron steal, ace a teamfight, etc. I've also won a surprising amount of games where the enemy team randomly surrenders, and I'm thinking to myself, "wait, what? I thought we were losing that game..."
4) Sometimes I'd rather spend more time playing in a losing effort, rather than waiting 10 min in queue trying to get a new match.
5) If I have a selfish teammate that loses a surrender vote and then afks, I will not surrender for any reason.
I do occasionally surrender if team chemistry is poor and everyone is bickering at each other, or if we are experiencing a beatdown of monumental proportions and the enemy team doesn't seem interested inf finishing the game. These situations are pretty rare though, so I'd estimate I only surrender in ~5% of my games.

Sounds good, that last reason is the big reason for me surrendering most of the time.. Also I don't really care at all about my elo anymore, so I have no problem surrendering prematurely if it means I don't have to put up with morons anymore.. If Im playing kayle/kogmaw/etc some big time carry, I know even if i'm way behind there is a point where I can probably ace the team.. but putting up with team mates bickering to get to that point is not worth it to me... If I'm playing a tank and my team mates are horrible I instantly forfeit unless Im mummy
By playing horrible i mean like 1-10, give up 2 dragons and 3 towers.. Whats up with people saying gg and forfeiting when the score is like 1-4, -1 tower???
also I dont know if anyone else does this.. but when someone rage quits, dcs.. I make sure i delay the game long enough for them to get that leaver .. hate rage quitters
