I might just spend some funcom points to buy a bloodline. i've played LoL but it just seems that heroes take longer in blc than in LoL. not sure why, in theory it would take the same if not longer. it kind of sucks that they make it only 4 hero rotation, it just seems that 10 heroes is so much more fulfilling. If you hit the cap it would take 2 weeks. New accounts can grab a new bloodline in 1 week with achievments. Also you have to realise the free version is a way to get people to want to buy the full game. The original idea was to not have a free version at all and only make it a pay game, like HoN. But they realized they had nowhere near the support and playerbase of HoN and dropped for a freemium strat like LoL. But Unlike LoL, which releases a hero every 2 weeks, they can't afford to let people max out in a few weeks. They need a way to get people to want to pay to play, let that be buying that one hero you really like or dropping 30 for the whole thing. Also as to the rotation, if you think about it the 10 free character rotation in LoL is only 9% of content. the 4 in Bloodline is 20%. They can't have a 10 BL rotation cause then people won't see a need to buy the game. If that much content is available in the free version people who payed will feel like they aren't getting enough (6 champs for 30$ instead of 12), and people who didn't wont feel a need to pay for it. It's business and you cant begrudge them for needing(not wanting) to make money. Just be glad that they don't churn out BL every few weeks like in LoL, game like this has a very delicate balance.

Side note, you can always play for a bit, gauge who you like (or play some guys and get a feel of who you think you will like) and just buy 2 champions for 10 bucks. I did that because I read all the abilities of all the guys and could figure out who I wanted to play. 30 for 16 guys (or 40 for 20) is obviously a better deal, but if you don't wanna spend that much and only have 1 or 2 guys appeal to you, you could save some bucks that way too.

Your probably aren't collecting the daily bonus I guess? Each day you get an bonus 600 coins when you play ranked games. You can collect those in like 45 minutes each day.So if you collect that everyday, you already have half the coin cap for the week. I mean, this system is very similar to LoL's, except it's WAY cheaper. You don't NEED to grind, you can shell out 30$ and buy the almost full game. As someone already mentioned, Stunlock Studios (the developer) intended the game to be 1-time buy, but Funcom (the publisher) decided to make it F2P, because it's easier to get customers that way. I agree that 90$ Titan Package is pretty ridiculous if you view this game as "just another copycat moba" (which it isn't), but it's actually cheaper than what you would have to pay for all the content from LoL, for example

My biggest hurdle to playing right now is that my internet is still focked and Comcast's being really slow (been over a month!) in installing @ my home, so I've been really only playing late at night, but that's usually when my friends in Aus/Cali are on so we switch around with games (sometimes SC2, sometimes UMS, sometimes BC, etc.)

![]() Plus, getting a free hero for blood coins isn't that hard. If you use the daily bonus only you get 900 points a day. Achievements give you a very quick boost. It's a good idea to get a win with each character. I actually bought blood priest within a week of play and it just convinced me that I really want to buy this game, if only to support the developers. One in a million. Hope MLG picks it up. Tougher competition is needed or ISR are gonna own all tournaments ![]()

Igniter/Gunner !! Alc (i believe) !! SM but it was some sub-in for r3x. Hence all the Gunnering from what I heard. Had a friend explain some stuff about ISR n shit. Side note: Should we make a new thread so we have an active OP for in game names n shit? Just curious. I don't mind making it and managing it if people think its worth doing.

game is realllllyyyyyy fun, they are short, action pack, great replay value. im really digging the spear master right now, although I personally find hes horrible in 5v5 and sometimes in 4v4... I feel like if your team is 100% nomad, you win because theres gazillion boomerangs flying everywhere

So what's the cookie-cutter 3v3 team? I'm asking you guys who have played a lot and know the game and champions well.
