Recommended to anyone who likes fast paced action. In it's essence BLC is more similar to a steroid-FPSs like quake rather than Moba's like HoN/DotA/LoL. No levels, mana, every single skill is a skillshot, it's pretty pure. There are tournaments hosted every saturday with live casting at http://www.blgtv.net/ BLC is seriously a quality product, it just needs more players to blow up

ithe game is a hybrid between WoW Arena and Dota battles, with LoL elements like gfx feel, microtransactions and such, minus the inherently imbalance factors - read below it's basically completely skill dependent since all abilities are cooldowns without capped resources like mana, random procs, crits, or items, runes, stuff like this to fuck it up. and it's complex too, 6 core abilities per class, and one ultimate + 2 variations on 2 of the basic skills dependant on an energy system. good tutorials and you can play against bots to learn shit. plus the classes are neatly grouped by explicit criteria (tanks, ranged, healers, melee) so it's newbie friendly as well the gui is good as well, and easy to understand what goes where in minimal time don't like the microtransaction model for any game myself, but it looks better here than with LoL, where it also causes huge imbalances, so it might be worth to drop a buck, and/or play till you get enough game currency to unlock stuff over time give it a try if you're shy about it, it's easy to install and get into, i recently got back into it and i'm still looking around seeing what's up after having played the beta few months ago, but so far, the improvements since beta seem to be remarkable also, this thing has good potential for esports growth too if the developers want to go that route

After playing so much LoL, the control scheme is kind of crazy. Instead of right clicking to get around and using QWER, you're using WASD to move and QERF+Right Click+Left Click for abilities. This doesn't make the controls overly complicated by any means, but your fingers might fumble around for a few games as you try to memorize which button does what. I might actually invest $30 in to this. I would love to have all the heroes and not have to grind for them. The $83 bundle is ridiculous but $30 seems reasonable, if my friends play it at least.
