There is one thing that shocks me thou the game has two ways to rank you first your level which you gain just by playing and then your rank which you gain by playing WELL. I am level 9 rank 8 or 7 (can't remember) but I see people level 14 rank 1 and 2 or something even more ridiculous :S I mean how bad do you have to be to level 14 levels and be rank 2, anyway I'm loving this game. | ||

Pretty easy: play against bots. That increases your XP (achievements, etc), but doesn't really affect your grade at all. Alternatively, immediately go and play ladder, where people are lots better than in custom games, so you will gain XP, you just won't win and will stay at grade 1 or 2. I don't think this is comparable to the people in Starcraft with 1000 2v2's played and still losing while proxy 2gating. | ||

Will probably shell out $30/40. Biggest concern I have is that the US servers are East coast and I have higher ping because of it. Hopefully once the game becomes more popular this improves. | ||

I, for one, don't really see how level/rank matter at all. It's more about the team score and such ;x | ||

shawzey, think there's only 1 server? anyways i played during beta a bit, got good with igniter and herald i think, anyways i've been playing alche and he's been fun. 90% of people strategy at low levels is train the healer so it's super easy to win. i'm playing wow arena as well so both games keep me sharp  | ||

I played some beta, played mostly igniter/other ranged chars (as well as some healers). I tend to find myself mispositioned as a melee too often. Also, @shawster, theres only 1 Bloodgate server, but separate game/ladder servers for EU/US. | ||

The ladder ratings etc. are consolidated though, the division (which you can flip back and forth on call) is just for ping purposes. Like the old battlenet gateways. No real biggy. | ||

Tank: Inhibitor Melee Damage: Harbinger Ranged Damage: Gunner Healer: Astronomer Playing Gunner with friends right now. Didn't mess with her much in beta. Different from the igniter im used to. Friend is loving Astro though. Brother playing Inhib, seems to like him. Not a bad 3v3 really as long as we don't misposition terribly and we have good burst. | ||

You can double that with Inhib's skill which does the same and you can lockdown a healer long enough to kill him. | ||

I really like it, I just think that the high skillcurve is really hurting the new players. It's pretty brutal when you go play the first few games and get completely owned and drag your team to hell. The weapons and outfits are pretty cool, I kinda wish they would have spent the time on better things such as... new bloodlines?! Find a few mates and go play some 3v3, I guarantee it's fun when you get into it. Also, lol at the "Titan Package". 90 EUROS? REALLY? Just remember to write "money well spent?" to the titanguys when you 3-0 them. :D | ||
