also, I'll have to see about tokido, but he can be very dirty. =) People have this idea that all japanese players play who they like regardless of tier, but tokido's not like that. He picks characters on the game based on tier. That + execution + the mindset (he can play lame and we all know it, he can rush as well and we all know it) can be a wildcard.

(about the phoenix super invincibility, if you're talking about the trap, lots of people have options against it)

I'm actually not even sure what he does half the time. He actually looks and processes; a lot of players right now have this mindset or arbitrary set of rules that they should or shouldn't do in certain instances which is fine, but very few actually does what Justin does with the in-game thinking.

Skrulls is invincible for the trap and can dodge the super/teleport sentinel is sentinel magneto is invincible for the super and negates the trap spider man is invincible for the trap and out of the way for the super (and hits the teleport if they teleported) Viewtiful is definitely invincible. hsien ko reflects the trap and can cancel into an attack to beat the TP.

I think it's too early to tell if their style of play is different, but seeing Korea in the fighting scene sure is nice in its own (Dr. Doom Cat is the best)

EDIT: I want to add a poll about MvC2 -> 3 transfer characters that you want to see. I am adding the characters that I used most often: Poll: MvC2 -> 3 transfer? Megaman (4) Jin (3) Spiral (2) 9 total votes Your vote: MvC2 -> 3 transfer? (this is a selfish poll by no means a comprehensive poll)

One of the few characters to go from 2 to 3, has a much easier combo attack than in 2, and is still ridiculously mobile with the double air jump and good sprint speed. I use her with x-23 to attack from both sides. The speed kicks (heavy, I forget their name) catch people for absurd amounts of damage. Chun Li has always been my favorite SF character and she has been a staple in all of my MvC2 and 3 teams. I never understood why she wasn't as popular as the 'top-tier' characters despite her unique benefits. Anyone care to theorycraft on this?
