I'm sure Rush and versatile teams would come up pretty soon, but I'm also looking for a trap team to go with everything. Modok/Phoenix I assume would be staples. (Phoenix just like Strider wherein you shouldn't get hit or you die) Who would be third? Dormammu? Trish? Also, what are everyone's thoughts on assists? Looks to me Chun-legs, Ammy-iceblast thing and Modok's psionic blast looks pretty decent | ||

we've had dual personality myrmidons for awhile ^^ also i've just now noticed deadpools normal walk is the "im da boss" walk while his backwalk he does MJ's moonwalk. edit: i've seen morrigan's meter assist gain u TON's of meter and dante's nevan assist (purple guitar) act as a pseudo mini- capcom/BH AA assist | ||

If you're looking for another trap character you gotta go with trish If you want a keepaway/trap team i'd say dormammu trish amaterasu would be pretty baller | ||

I'll be honest, I didn't play Okami (nor do I have a ps3 or xbox360, I just go an play at a friend's house every now and then when the PS3 came out the only games I've been playing consistently are Marvel 2 and Dota while following BW over here) so I was kinda skeptical to think "what the hell is a dog doing here" but right now, Ammy is looking a lot cooler to me. =D I just might Main it | ||

At any rate I'm so pumped for this game, it convinced me to finally order an arcade stick (also for SSF4). Still not sure what my team is gonna be, a lot of characters are looking really good, even ones I dismissed earlier (that Thor combo was ridiculous). All I know is the Amaterasu is very likely gonna be on main team, the ice shot assist looks like its gonna work well with a bunch of characters (also my Okami fanboyism mentioned earlier). I was planning on Phoenix as well (Jean Grey/Phoenix is probably my favorite Marvel character) and she looked really damn strong, but she has essentially no HP, she is gonna have to do some ridiculous damage to be worth it. | ||

I think it would be foolish to not have her as the third on a team and her keep away is crucial until you build meter for dark Phoenix then all hell breaks lose. It's funny everyone after seeing Hulk 100% her in seven hits jumped from the she's op bandwagon to she is trash give her more health bandwagon. I guess we will have to wait until the game comes out but I wouldn't dissmiss her just yet. | ||

oh and wasting 5 bars just to have the same amount of hp as everyone else, except it slowly counts down, I don't like that, even if the damage is sick there are clearly a lot of characters with better damage. I think Storm is a better option, I think amaterasu is a better option. It remains to be seen but Phoenix just is TOO weak. One air launch into a standard air combo kills her, and she's not the fastest nor does she have teleports or traps like trish does. Keep in mind that 5 bars is a LOT and using it all up at once is foolish in 99% of situations. | ||

I wouldn't disagree with there being better keep away characters then her heck I think as far as keep away characters go I think Arthur and Modok might be the best. I guess if I had her on my team that's how I would play her. Third on my team, playing mad keep away and building meter for dark Phoenix. | ||

edit: normal snaps I've seen in videos before. People talk about it for bringing back in a character effected by Viewtiful Joe's slow ailment (handjob) hyper or for bringing in Arthur (with regards to gold armor/boxers), or something like that. | ||
