The wraiths are the ones that are next to the mid lane, you know this right? The first thing I do solo mid is rupture at 1:39 to hit them all, smite the big one, and take out the small ones. It puts me at enough XP so that I hit level 2 off of two minion kills and then suddenly the other team's level 1 carry is facing a level 2 cho with full HP on the first wave.

lol yah I know they're the ones next to the mid XD. Sounds great, though. You seem to have it down to a science. I'd love to get some games in with you sometime

Great Chos aren't really that rare anymore, the most difficult part is timing rupture just right(which is hard) So many people are really bad with him though lol

StorkHwaiting and I just played a game, pretty sick. He pushed super hard with 15 assists and 4 tower kills before they quit even though their karth was getting ridiculous ult kills on me every time it was up haha.

A lot of it comes down to knowing when to engage, too, because even though you're a huge tank you're actually pretty easy to take down depending on your items, especially if you go AP. I've started getting a zhonya's and a mejai's in my AP builds and it's making me either dominate the whole game or do so-so with ridiculous burst damage.

I think both ways are doable though. I just prefer brutalizer because of how quickly it allows me to farm lanes/jungle/gank. Panth really becomes a monster farmer once he gets some -CD with his heartseeker.

I've done quite a bit of -CD with pantheon, and I dunno, 20 second base CD on heartseeker puts it in an awkward place for halfassing CD reduction. like, -10% from brutalize + maybe -10% from glyphs (which I wouldn't recommend anyway, but I've done it because I don't have the IP to go to mana regen or magic resist) puts you at 16 second CD vs. 20 second CD which is nice, but not worth the missed runes or the reduced damage efficiency (1 dmg/53gold on brutalizer vs. 1dmg/37 gold on BF Swords) IMO since it's still far from spammable.

I guess I just find stacking the most efficient damage items possible to work best with my playstyle as I tend to play pantheon as a jungler/ganker/chaser in the mid game and only really farm lanes when I use my ult to save a tower. With this, I don't care about CD redux because all I need to be able to do is q-w-e and activate ghost to chase for my auto-crit one hit if they're getting away.

Good points mogwai. I think for me it might even be the incremental gains. Like that looong bridge of 1850 gold in the early game just hurts so bad. Whereas I can pay down 415 and get an extra +10 right away. So I can continue doing things kind of streamlined, heartseeker wiping out whole creep waves in one cast, continuing to do solid dmg w/ spear harass in lane etc. I think it's just that long gap where it's early game building up 1850 gold that scares me.

yea, I know what you mean, it used to scare the hell out of me to think of waiting to get 1850 gold to buy anything, but after the first few times playing it I realized it's not that bad and the second you get your BF Sword you become a monstrous threat on ganks. The build just feels very streamlined to me and I've been hugely successful with the simple item build of boots -> B. F. Sword -> bloodthirster + mercury treads .

I was introducing a new friend to the game, and he wanted to play versus humans. I explained the anti-smurf system and why it would be a problem... so we ended up in a 5v5 practice game.

I am now depressed.

This friend went 0-7-2 in a lane with my brother, who still double-killed the Rammus and Kassadin repeatedly 1v2 (DPS Janna so pro!) I was in bottom with a Jax, against a Yi who was surprised that I could "cast spel with no manas" as I slowly cleavered him down to 1/4 hp from the bushes. I went 8-1-2. We won in 18 minutes.
So yes, in a way, pubstomps still exist.

im on a huge losing streak, cuz my team loves to farm while turrets are being pushed, and stuck with shit teams. What makes it worse is that its double IP weekend arggg

I know how you feel, i had the most retarded Sivir playing on my team, who apparently doesnt understand english, cause we told her to put the fucking vision ward on the ground and she wouldn't do it. -_-
To top it off she fed them like crazy. -_-

It doesn't get better at higher ELOs... I still have absolute morons in my game. Like a malphy who goes banshee veil vs a team with no AP heroes... And an alistar who was lvl 11 when we were all lvl 18.
