Liz Triangle is a fairly well known group that specializes in pop-rock Touhou. You know, the kind of shit you see in J-dramas and animes (sic). They went a little bit heavier this time than they usually do, which is a plus for me. It’s also a pure Ten Desires album, albeit a bit short, but short isn’t bad necessarily.
1. My Desire (Desire Drive) Once again, Desire Drive is overrated. But the vocal by lily-an here is really good. I really enjoyed this piece, even though I feel the song isn’t that great. Well done.
2. 明神変化 (Futatsuiwa from Sado) This is average. Again, TD Extra Boss theme is relatively weak in my book. By keeping to the original theme too tightly, they weren’t able to really “wow” like they would in… 3. Veda (Rigid Paradise) Holy crap, am I in Arabia? Liz Triangle really outdid themselves here, by taking the vague minor Arabic key and encompassing the whole song with it. The vocals go really well with it too, keeping the “east” in the song at the same time. Best on the album.
4. ネクロジカライズ (Ghost Lead) This is a very weird piece. You can catch pieces of Ghost Lead in the vocals here and there, and the METAHLZ are okay, but it doesn’t really jive well. Not sure if it’s shitty production or what, but this song could have been execute a whole lot better.
5. ライン (Legend of the Great Gods) An unusual take on a usually hyper song. By taking it slowly, Liz Triangle does a decent job in bringing out the inner melody of the song. At the same time though, it loses its character-this isn’t the style of ditzy grey haired hat boss, so it feels weird.
6. The Starry True (True Administrator) Eh. This keeps somewhat to the original song, but it just seems weird. I can’t really put my finger on it, but it seems pretty clear that the pitch is elevated into a dissonant key. Not bad, but not great either.
listening to Veda again, on 2nd hearing it's a lot better than what I remember
About the starry true, are you sure there's no starry sky in it? as suggested by the name xD But anyways, once again sad to see the stage 6 theme(s) not used so well -.-; perhaps it is more ZUN's fault for making weird tracks like that, haha
Picked up C81 [あんかけスパ] 妖々剣戟夢想ーようようけんげきむそう pretty cool, Marisa was pretty difficult lol...... Took me a long time to figure out u can jump over danmaku (wtf...)

im glad the trailer is actually a trailer, instead of like, a full fight scene xD (i wonder if they were actually going to do an eosd episode, or if they were going to but decided to do PCB instead? or what?)
and holy shit the boobs are big
also lol i didn't notice until i read the comments, cirno melts or sublimes when she enters the water xD
edit: also, I'm glad the vocals for that song are good :D very in-tune and fitting and all that
I think I heard 1st desire (true administrator) from tatsh before from mumu, but I'm glad I found it again (finally read through all of caller's reviews, and checked out the ones that were 8 and higher).
I don't like saying it, but from my experience, C81's releases have been decidedly average. Maybe it's just because I don't like most of Ten Desires's songs, but I was a hell of a lot more pleased with the haul from a year ago. That KONEKODAKKAIYA album Yoshi was hyping turned out to be mediocre (aside from True Administrator); Sally's album was meh (even WITH Chata); xi-on fell flat on his face, Yuuhei Satellite self-destructed after track 2; DDBY failed to live up to the awesome precedent set by the first two Café albums; SYNC.ART'S, while not bad, was just the same old (and only three tracks); TatshMusicCircle was overall boring... even ENS's Dione Aggregation felt lacking in the sort of awesomeness that was present in pre-Solitude Blossom albums.
In fact, the only three albums I genuinely enjoyed were Demetori's, UNDEAD CORPORATION's, and (oddly enough) EastNewSound's original work album.

Maybe I'm just too negative.
what are you talking about, that legend of the great gods was amazing.
sally was fine, monochrome-coat was good, liz triangle was good, and most of the other ones that you mentioned i always felt were overrated anyways.
i'm still waiting for kairo and draw the emotional, they seem good
idk, i thought desire drive arrange from konekodakkaiya album was good, and i'm only indifferent about the original track. I felt the guitar solos and all that were pretty fitting and kept the relaxed feeling. But oh well :D Even the last track OFF was pretty good, as in decent (not good enough for me to put on a playlist), the only problem was the first 2 ish lines of the singing felt... unnatural and stressed, but it's fixed later.
lol ENS original album =O
O that's right, I still need to check out SYNC.ART
Listening to sync art, too bad only 3 tracks. The first 2 are alright, true admin is fine, nothing really special, but vocals are fine.
FUCK YES is what i thought of when I found out the last track [ that I still need to listen to ] is Old Yuanxin :D. The first one I heard was Desire drive... didn't really care about it though the arrangement wasn't bad. It was decent.
But I don't really like what they did with it xD It's different which is good, and it's not bad, but it's not quite there for me. Once again, the singing is actually good, it's more the arrangement that is only mediocre... maybe decent.
Still have a lot more albums to hear though... there's got to be some gems. Even one. Caller did you actually listen to every album? (xf counts lol)
