Those fireballs could not do jackshit against him, picture endless runs to town to pick up mana potions and then grinding skeletons to be able to afford them.
Also the Grim Reaper in the first Castlevania game was just mean.

I killed ruby weapon with KoR and a bunch of mimics + abusing stop, but emerald weapon wtf Link KoTR to HP Steal and W-summon it and mass mimic. And link phoenix to final cast just in case. I think that's how I did it, so long ago... Hardest bosses are all probably DMC (1 and 3, I never played 2 but I heard it was easier) bosses in Dante Must Die mode. I've never played Ninja Gaiden though, although that seems like a game that would be pretty awesome to play (I thought the impossible bosses in DMC were fun, to some extent, so the difficulty level of NG sounds like it's right for me). Edit: oo I forgot about Disgaea bosses, but that games all about grinding anyhow, so I don't know if that counts as hard.

![]() Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (for NDS) When you get the evil ending, you're facing enemies that have about 7000 health and do about 300, and your characters are about 1000 health and do like 50. The boss has maxed out stats (9999999 health, 9999999 dmg, etc). Try beating her ![]()

I killed ruby weapon with KoR and a bunch of mimics + abusing stop, but emerald weapon wtf Emerald weapon First get the underwater materia (transform the undead boat in the underwater reactor). Give manual to old man who gives you underwater materia which removes the timer from the emerald weapon fight. Give each person mimic one person gets wsummon and knights of the round linked to hp drain another person gets final attack and pheonix. have one person with enemy skill to use big guard at the start of the fight. Then on, spam kotr. you want as little materia as possible on each person in this fight as emeralds big ass attack that hits your entire party for insane damage hits based on how much materia a person has equipped, so almost no materia = little damage its a long fight due to the summon annimation, but its not bad.

For the most part it doesn't actually buff up monsters (only a few where it makes sense, and even those can be disabled). The primary changes that it makes is that it redoes the spell selection of the enemy casters in the game, and drastically improves the intelligence of their spell usage. This applies both to real casters and to monsters with spell-likes (e.g. Fiends, Dragons, and Beholders). Those monsters also can be buffed to have statistics closer to pen and paper D&D, for instance, Mind Flayers are given more psionic abilities (some approximations are made--Beholders are supposed to be able to overload Spell Turning-type spells, but this is approximated by giving them a random chance to break those spells with their ray attacks). The mod also buffs up some of the weaker or more boring encounters of the game, particularly the random encounters. The most interesting of those changes I found was the change to Demilichs, which gives a saving throw to their Imprisonment spell, but also makes them 35th level casters. This, generally, makes the fight more interesting.

I haven't played the game personally but I can only imagine the outcome. The hardest boss for me I think would be Akuma from Street Fighter 2 Turbo.

Great for Andariel and Diablo as well. dude he has that cold aura and he'll just slow you and rape you lol I beat duriel when I was fucking 10 years old without dying! with barbarian, necro and sorceress! Just have LOTS of town portals and just go back home when you're low on health and heal, repeat the process. EASY

Viscidus was not a hard fight for alliance... it was just a stupid one that wasn't worth the effort to do it. Sapphiron I wouldn't consider hard either. There was a "critical hp" point where you got so much HP from world buffs that the fight became a joke. I remember barely being able to keep up with Sapphirons damage output going on just consumables and getting maybe to like 70% and then we go ahead and kill him first try with world buffs. C'thun was damn hard though, I loved that fight. C'thun Twin Emps Kel'Thuzad Four Horseman all of those deserve a spot in the hall of fame for MMO bosses. Gothik the Harvester was also one of those. For TBC the pre nerf POSSIBLE variations of Kael'thas and Vashj were both extremely well made bosses. Kil'jaeden was also an astoundingly well made boss. Well made bosses for WOTLK? Well.. not a damn one lol lol lol.

Even with final attack + phoenix, I couldn't set up the W-summon knights of the round mimic rotation again, so I was screwed anyway. That's how I killed it anyway. Ruby weapon was much easier for me, because he _only_ removed 2 of my party members from the fight, rather than killing them all at once with Aire Tam Storm ><

Since at that point in time you're likely carrying like 16 materia or something per character that's why you die. It was quite easy to set up a team that had 9999 hp 999 mp and the required materia without doing anything gay like W-Summon KOTR mimic. I always got a bad taste in my mouth from that sort of strategy.

I didn't have the Internet back then and didn't have a strategy guide so I didn't even know it existed. With the time limit, summons were out of the question so I killed it with 4x cut materia, quadramagic flare, 2x ultima, etc. You had plenty of time to cast ultima and destroy his eyes/gems/whatever before he cast Aire Tam Storm. It wasn't even hard. Admittedly, a raid's performance was always directly related to how much they cared about doing a fight, and no one cared about Viscidus. Still, it was an incredibly hard boss. C'thun went from absolutely impossible to average difficulty when they nerfed him. Dozens of guilds killed him the day of the patch without any problems, and he was never difficult to repeat. Awesome fight though.
