Polt should have built turrets instead of letting Forgg's banshee a-move over his mineral line in game two.
Even though I fully agree that when the BW pros do migrate, that the whole landscape of the top players will change in months time.

yeah well people should stop calling him fin,its so much of a loss of identity.

Yes, Brood War players will own when they switch over. That doesn't make a competition a farce. Match fixing makes it a farce. It has nothing to do with players skill levels. It could be between bronze leaguers and be a legit competition.
Just hoping to get this in there before people start arguing again. Trying to nip it in the bud.

Polt and sage played both terribly and forgg played well.
Maybe waiting an opponent who will not fuck up everything would be a good idea before hyping him like that.
Sure he is gonna be one of the best players, but people seem to think he will just win the 5 next gsl using only one hand.

if that were the case we should all call boxer manofoneway and mkp as boxer.

I was looking up Fin/ForGG and I have a few questions: Why are players with no recorded match history seeded at 2150 in TLPD ELO rank? That's higher than all but the very top of the top. Why does it say Fin joined oGs in March 2009?

Well those are sort of special cases. Boxer never competed under manofoneway. That was just his ladder account. MKP was part of the [arnc] clan which out of homage to the greats, use the tags of BW legends.

Superior players make their opponents look terrible, his management and multitask were just on another level to Sage and Polt. Good players make you fuck up and Forgg is damn good.

Lol I love the people who try and downplay ForGG's success. Hot_Bid had it right in the original article. Broodwar has about a hundred players with the same raw talent as MVP. Sure it's a different game and not all of them would be great if they all transitioned over but plenty will be. Broodwar just has a huge slice of the talent pool when it comes to rts games.

1 banshee at the start of the game should not cause you to fall apart regardless of who is using it.

Someone who had little to no name in BW making a new name for himself in SC2 is different from someone who already had a name and fame in BW suddenly wanting to be someone else. If someday Flash switches to SC2 and wants to be called Sparkles, well fuck that, he's still Flash. I mean, I don't agree with saying that ForGG shouldn't be called Fin, but man, it's never going to stop being weird every time someone does it.
