It isn't about KeSPA, it's about BW A-teamers vs BW B-teamers or people who were never on a BW pro team to begin with.

A-Team vs B-Team in this sense means the divisions within teams. The A-Team players were the better players who got sent out in proleague, the B-teamers were essentially just glorified practice partners and dishwashers. These all were on the same teams. Intrigues argument was that because many of the initial SC2 players were former B-teamers, once the A-teamers come in they would dominate the competition. It's a solid thesis in theory, but he or she overlooked one thing, they were only on the B-team for like 6 months and all BW A teamers started out on the B-team for about a year. The expectation is that they would've risen to the A-team as well had they continued to play BW.

I like Polt's answer when he was asked if he thought Flash would ever become the greatest SC2 player, he just answered. "No, because Flash is only one player and there are a lot, the chance of any player becoming the greatest SC2 player is low." or something like that. Very smart response.

Would Flash, JD and the other fellas have had such a success if the Serrals, Reynors and Marus of our time were old enough, at that time?? HAIL Starcraft II 10 Year anniversary, and the generations comparisons that come with it!!

"BW competition is a farce, the scene is full of old players with broken bodies without any fresh blood, if the spaghetti boi entered the scene, he would win asl within a month and the duo Maru/Serral will make you all atheists. As a very rafined and tasteful person, I watch the best rts competition in the world with the very best players in the world who would mop the floor with any bw players." That's obviously not my perspective as I still enjoy a lot of Warcraft III. It's sad TL has channeled this toxic bs back in the time because it really plagued the forum, this article was extremely insulting and just completely stupid, the elephant in the room was the new generation of players and the ones with the most ambition, as always.
